Cycled through the offer codes and came across this.

Hopefully it's also including the DVD, but at £5 a quarter it's still a great price regardless.

Happy Shopping.

I dont think PCG do a sub without the DVD.

Seems like a very good deal to me....
#2
Yeah me too. the only thing i was concerned with was not following an original link to get there.
But it took.... and accepted my details and didn't throw a wobbly at the offer code. So Bonus :)

Bit odd. On the main page, it says £16.54 per quarter???

I think the higher DD offer is for the free gift, and this one is a ond off deal, because that price is cracking.

I haven't subbed to a mag for years but £5 a quarter is less than the cover price of one issue of PCGamerUK so it's being bought.

Hot.

Top stuff, been waiting for a cheap price on this for ages.

edit: , hmm, just noticed in the email that came back it says:
"The payment schedule will be:
1 payments of £ 5.00
thereafter payments of £ 19.09 to be taken every 3 Months "
#9
£5 for the 1st quarter only!!!

From my email confirmation:

The payment schedule will be:
1 payments of £ 5.00
thereafter payments of £ 19.09 to be taken every 3 Months

Not terribly impressed by site not saying so, unless it's an error in email. Will be trying to find out.

Have just emailed to query this.

and whilst doing so noticed that the price schedule given would be more than a normal DD subscription for a year! It must be an error.

Grrrr just had the same email. :( oh well it looked to good to be true and it was....

Sorry all to get your hopes up.

As I noted, there's something clearly wrong with the amounts in that email, 5 + 3x19.09 = more than a regular yearly subscription to pc gamer.. I'm hoping the 19.09 is just a glitch and should still be 5, but have to see.

So what? Cancel your subs before the 2nd Direct Debit. Sounds like you get 3 or 4 issues for a fiver. Cannot be bad. Hot.

The T&C's state subscriptions can only be cancelled within first 60 days, so this may not be safe.

Stop worring guys, I've had loads of these deals before. You are signing up for 3 issues at £5 and **IF** you don't cancel the Direct Debit then they just presume that you want to continue your subscription at X Pounds per quarter. This is how they make their money, from the people who forget to cancel the Direct Debit. As soon as you see the first payment go out, cancel it, simple as that.

You are 100% protected by the law as the offer states you get 1 quarter for £5 and there is no stipulation that you MUST continue the subscription after the 1st quarter. I had a call last week form Dennis Publishing offering me 3 issues of PC Zone for £5 and he confirmed that you just cancel the Direct Debit if you don't want to continue. And yes, I went for that deal as well!

I am also in the middle of a Custom PC magazine '3 issues for £1' deal of which the Direct Debit has been cancelled. I always cancel mine with my online banking to save any hassle, just log on, go to Direct Debits and find the DD you want to cancel.

I hope this clears up this issue. Oh and it ain't expired either...

I can confirm I'm getting my three issues for £5, and have been given a different offer to continue on, not as good, but still better than the regular.
