I have posted this deal previously but submitting it again because I am sure there will be plenty people out there buying computers for Christmas and therefore needing a decent desk/workstation.

This is a great little computer desk for the money from the pcworld business web site. Paid £13.47 + £5.00 delivery. Total 19.35

The best thing is however if you search this on the mainstream pcworld web site or go to buy instore they will charge you £49.99 + £4.95 delivery for the same item!!

Now I will be honest and say it is a bit of a rip-off for pcword to try and justify £50 for this desk, infact not so long back they charged around £35 for the same model. Trust me though, for £19.35 delivered its a bargain, flat pack easy to put together and very sturdy construction.

When you go to checkout there will be a default delivery charge of £9.95 for next day service, just click on 2-3 business days for the £5.00 charge.

Just register an account and pay with debit or credit card, no more complicated than that. Be quick though they only had four in stock last time I looked although they will order in stock on demand you just might have to wait a tad longer for delivery.

Looks ok for the money if you need a compact desk, for me though its too small! I need something bigger for me as I need space for 2 printers, a ups, base unit, monitor and spare 14" testing monitor, plus space to build and work on pc's so ive made one from kitchen units and worktop with a drop leaf style extension so it cant get cluttered when not in use and gives me work space but for most people this looks a good buy so hot vote!

Yes, I guess its each to their own in this instance. Its ideal if you want a tidy desk taking up minimal floor area/space. Anyway I tend to find the bigger the worksurface the more rubbish I aquire over time! I actually bought two to put in bedrooms.

Worth mentioning also that the wood colour is beach effect and the metal frame is tubular finished in metalic silver.

What beats me is how PCWorld can list this at £50'ish on their main site yet sell it so cheaply on the business site. Its certainly well worth the 20 quid delivered.

I have no doubt there will be quite a few unfortunates buying these at well over the odds.

Sorry its a bit late in the day but you need to select 2-3 business days delivery service not next day which is twice the price.
