I literally tried 5-6 wireless remote for my Raspberry Pi (xvmc) this one is the best! Very good response time and range. I purchased another one for the PC upstairs.

I've only just got around to using this and I'm a bit disappointed. Doesn't work through walls - at all - and sometimes even physically touching the pad and receiver together still doesn't help, like they've got to be pushed together in a certain way or something.

I knew there were problems on the 2.4GHz frequency with interference but this is ridiculous.

On the plus side, it does take AA batteries in addition to the flat battery, if that's preferable to some.

I'll be sending mine back I think
And we can confirm this works with open elec or raspbmc on the pi?

It is the same as the 7dayshop one - no audio while charging, but the battery life is good. I use it in a car aux port and elsewhere. It's a nice piece of kit - quite plasticy but works very well, sound quality is good and proven to last so far!
Not sure if this is the same as this one, which definitely will NOT connect over Bluetooth whilst it's being charged
I went for a slightly cheaper model as this one does not charge while turned on I read...

Will let you know what its like when I get it!

These are cheaper and do the exact same job, have an internal battery too.

Though advertised as being able to run ITV player and 4od apps it won't.
I'm sure this is the same as the 809 which I have, turns your tv into a smart tv at a fraction of the cost, works well. Only thing is its power is drawn from your tv via USB which is not sufficient under demand and crashes so I use my iPhone charge plug and no more crashes.
Can you use this on an android tablet? Thanks in advance.

No, you plug them into an HDMI socket of a TV to make it 'smart'...

I've had one of these a few months and I've not been too impressed tbh.

1) It transfers at 2mb MAX per second when moving files around the LAN
2) It is cabled to the router but the wireless PS3 stutters even when playing standard def videos
3) Twonky doesn't steam to my Sony Bravia tv at all.

All in all, it is a hard drive for me at the moment, and a slow one at that.

2GB of Data Written via NFS from a Linux machine to the NSA310

dd if=/dev/zero of=test.file bs=1024k count=2048
2048+0 records in
2048+0 records out
2147483648 bytes (2.1 GB) copied, 76.0336 s, 28.2 MB/s

The Router/Firewall the Nas is currently plugged into in my setup is the bottleneck.

Resource print from the Router.

JUSTOP are dodgy as hell - I returned an item bought from eBay they claimed it never arrived (funny they seem to have done that to nearly 50 others in the last 12 months).

So I'm £40 out of pocket.

LIARS AND THIEVES in my experience.
Can someone unexpire this.
why has this expired?

still in stock very tempted

Hi Njay, can I ask how did you get it installed on your NSA310 - I have the same NAS and not very techie, is it fairly easy? thanks
ebuyer have been doing these as a special for a long time...they are 69.99 delivered on there, BUT they do include a 500gb drive.
So 20 quid extra for a 500gb drive chucked in if u fancy that instead

Nsa310 and 325 have more features built in and faster processor and memory compared to the previous gen NSA2xx series.

Polkast app is great and allows me to use my 2tb drive inside my nsa310 as my own cloud storage for my iPad and android phone. I streamed some music from it to my phone in the middle of the park to demo it to a mate lol. Unfortunately my adsl uplink cant stretch to videos as it maxes out at 48Kb/s lol. Locally I get just under 12Mb/s to mine and thats because my router is only 10/100 so the router can't go any quicker.

Wouldn't say it's a hot deal though as these were £29.95 when I bought mine

Can i map this as a drive so no matter where i am so long as its connected i can access it if so is there a walk though somewhere?
This is just the smaller, 1 bay, version of the above enclosures. For those who aren't so bothered about have 2 drives I guess, and I would imagine it would cut down on the power usage; something that I think matters when the drive is in use for long periods of time.
