If you take a photo of it you can upload it via a site like Photobucket and then once you have done that it will give you an forum image link. :)

Those B*******s lied to me :p
Those B*******s lied to me :p
I recall talking to one of the DSG guys before on this.
if they have under X in stock, the system seems patchy on stock reporting.
You bought a NAS (not a blade server I know but) and you don't know how to upload a photo onto here?!?

- Make sure you have the up to date firmware for it before you transfer any files, and the same for the software. If you have to update after you have transferred files -on to it then they all get wiped (as I found out to my cost!)
- When trying to use the remote access it doesn't like BT Homehub routers. I was 3 days on the LG helpline getting it sorted with their German? operators having to open up ports and keep trying different settings.
- It shuts down every once in a while (ranges between a couple of days and a couple of weeks) and has to be turned on again. This is a complete pain when you are away from home trying to access it remotely.
- After many calls to the helpline I am still unable to use the Android and iPhone remote access and home access apps. Again, this seems to be because of having the BT Homehub router. A friend has the same one with Virgin Media and it was an absolute doddle to set up for my Android and his iPhone.
- Print server works well
- DLNA works well
Overall, a good piece of kit, but there are issues with compatibility with BT Homehub; but there are Virgin Media routers available on the quick install settings.

I noticed that and had a wry smile to myself.
I'm upgrading from the bottom of this page up - not a quick process :(
