Rewritable discs with 4.7GB Capacity. Available for in-store collection and also for home delivery (£3.99 extra).

These dont last long and reserve one quick - this is a "BARGAIN ". Unlike the previous PCWorld offers, this seems to be in stock in many places.

ill meet you at mcdonalds over the road....we can have a coffee together

There's always a McDonalds within 100 yards of each PC World. Then again, it seems there's always a McDonalds within 100 yards of anywhere.

My mate and his girlfriend met in McDonalds. It wasn't the same one - they waved at each other across the road. :p

Couldn't find the +RW disks in the High Wycombe branch, but they
were selling Verbatim DVD+R's at £5 for 50 - they were going fast though

I just checked DVD Media List / VideoHelp.com, only 3 posts about the 4x DVD-RW's and not very favourable.

Hi there

Just back from PC World, Bangor, Northern Ireland and yes they have stacks of these DVD Discs but they are selling them for £14.99. Obviously nobody from Head Office has told the Country Bumkins to put them in the Sale. Wasted Journey. Checked the PC World Web Site before going out to the shop and it confirmed the offer and to collect the Discs at the shop

If you print out your collect at store order they will have to honour that price.

Did you actually do the "collect at store" on the pcworld website and get an order reference?
#33
Hi there

Thanks for replying so quickly. I didn't do the "Collect at Store" Order. I must do that and see if that works but I was thinking of printing out the offer and taking it into them and see what they have to say for themselves.
Thanks for the suggestions and thanks for a great site.......some great offers
#34
I'm quite suprised so many people are buying them when all available reviews point to them being very poor. Can anyone with DVD testing experience report back with a review of these?
#35
Yes - unfortunately they will only honour the price if you have the order collection number. What you are effectively doing is buying from the website (which tends to have cheaper prices than instore) but collecting it from a store to save on postage.

If you check out the media code -

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?dvdmediadvdridsearch=OPTODISCOP4%20

You''ll see that actually they are pretty average.
#37
I was thrown off by the extremely negative reviews on the PC line specific disks, nm.
#38
PC Line DVD+RW 4x = £5
Verbatim DVD+R 8x = £5

Both in plenty of stock at the High Street Kensington PC World!! Just checked an hour ago. Amazing deal I must say... although the 4x and 8x are older speeds that will be outdated quite soon, but doesn't really matter... just means a slower burn.
