Your link is to a DVB-T tuner not a DVB-T2 one.

Much cheaper than the Black Gold T2 tuner which is about £90 I think.

Seems like a good unit. Are the HD recording encrypted? What format are they saved in?

I think it is voted cold as Freeview HD Set top units are cheap! and most folk will glance this and compare it with the price of an SD USB Freeview unit.

Review seems positive

"This is a Hauppauge unit note Vista Media Center has no support for HD channels (not sure about XP!), and so they aren't displayed. Vista users will need to upgrade to Windows 7 if they want to use the Nanostick with Media Center
Using Windows 7, however, everything worked fine. It recognised the T2 as a simple DVB-T tuner, but when we scanned for channels it also picked up the four Freeview HD channels. These weren’t marked as being HD in Media Center’s guide, but there was no problem watching the HD feed or scheduling recordings.

Windows 7 can also be set-up to work with multiple tuners, so it's possible to simply add this HD tuner to your existing dual-tuner Freeview set-up."

Cheaper at £54.49 del at BT shop vs £59.11 del from Dab same parent legal entity but different P&P

Can't believe this is voted cold. Most of the cold voters must be comparing it to the price of the old DVB-T tuners.

This is a DVB-T2 tuner!! The only way to receive freeview HD channels in the UK without a sattelite dish on your laptop/PC.

If anyone can find it cheaper anywhere I'd like to know!!!

If you want a dual tuner the black gold is your only option at the moment

Yeah that is not DVB-T2 so not HD as you say, don't get caught out by these items on ebay or amazon marketplace, they won't support freeview HD guys!
