Just bought afterglow wii u pro controller for £14.99 from Sainsburys. I work for the company and was searching for official pro controller but found my store had some afterglow controllers in stock, they were not on display! Did a quick stock check for other stores and a lot of them still have stock in, worth checking out as price is approx. £10 cheaper than amazon, decent alternative to more expensive official pro controller. It looks pretty good and for those that don't want to spend £40 on an official Wii U Pro Controller this is certainly a great alternative.

I got one of these a few weeks ago. thought it must've been the RRP or I would've posted it!

How long does the battery last for?

I forget when it was the last time I charged my Wii U Pro Controller because it lasts for ages. :)

Hi, does anyone know the best price of the official Wii u pro controller?
#6
What's the battery life like compared to the official pro controller? The official one lasts for ever.

Where can I get an official one from? Can't seem to find anywhere that has a sensible price in stock..

3 hours of charge will last 30 mins of gameplay.. don't use on 2md day.. and 3rd day battery is dead. not worth £15.. use it as a wired controller

I bought one of these for the kids last year and never had any problems with battery life although they tend to use it without the glow perhaps this makes a big difference. It certainly doesn't need to be charged as often as the game pad. It also seems to be robust as it gets thrown around quite a bit and it still works brilliantly. Would definitely recommend!

decent quality 3rd party controller. my friend has one, he really likes it. it has analogue style trigger buttons versus the official pro controller's digital ones. personally I'll hold out for a good deal on the official one but this is still a nice controller, especially at that price

The PDP controllers have the tendency to give the false impression that you're using analogue triggers when they're actually digital, the same has happened with their line of Super Smash Bros. Wii U Fight Pads, it's confusing for some people but it's somewhat nice.

I'll check out if the Sainsbury nearby has this as I prefer analogue triggers even though it's not exactly the case, as I saw it from an unboxing video the controller seems to be very well built in terms of quality and apparently it's heavy, so I'll give it a go.

What stores did you find stock of this in? Anything near GU15 postcode?

Thank you

I went to Finchley Road's Sainbury's which is one of the biggest and yet I couldn't find jack for the Wii U.

I bought one of these yesterday from sainsburys in denton, Was on the shelf for 14.99. (last one)
Seems like a decent controller but the right stick on mine makes a stupid clicking sound, so ill be taking it back tomo.
I also dont like the battery bulge on the back like a 360 controller either, but if you can find a fully working one for 15 its a bargain.
