Hot. Other colours available from £65. Are these any good?

I've got a Peavey Generation exp and it's really nice so going on the brand it's probably worth a punt at this price.

Always be wary of cheap guitars, but you're mor likely to get an okay one from a named brand like Peavey.

I was really considering one of these but after lengthy reading of forums, reviews etc I settled on a Yamaha Pacifica, going on the reviews the pacifica is a great learner guitar and most guitar shops I called spoke highly of it, I did enquire about Peavey but most folks were giving mixed reviews on it , also heard peavey were financially in trouble although don't know whether thats a rumour, maybe why the prices are coming down though.

Cheers ended up getting a boxed Pacifica and only required some slight string tensioning and a bit of inotation adjustment on the 12th Fret on a few strings, cracking piece of kit for the money.

Very much this. Just don't forget you need the cable to go with the game, as they use some custom USB to 1/4" jack cable.

Tesco were recently doing the game and cable for as little as £10!

I think the concensus is the Peavey is a good buy at this price but if you can find a good deal on a Yamaha Pacifica go for that. Another good entry guitar would be the Aria STG003 (or 004)!

Yamaha Pacifica is the one used by my kids school for lessons. Always seems to get good reviews.
