Peebles has been killed by Fitbit - no more support soon.

I wouldnt bother, I got mine a few weeks before fitbit bought them out. Honestly worst purchase I ever made, screen just goes crazy on it and freezes all the time. Factory reset or nothing works. No where to turn now they've been taken over. Piece of junk.

That's the first gen too, right? Reasonable price if you've never had one, but I'd avoid and just pick up a cheaper used one.

One on ebay right now ending in 11 minutes and currently at £13.

The few I've had in the past have been flawless, but I know there was a lot of people getting faulty ones. You're completely up the creek if you get one of those now

I don't understand the mentality of the people who say that you're basically stuffed if these fail on you. You do know that the first year of the warranty lies with the retailer? If it does unfortunately ever break, the retailer has to replace it, not the manufacturer. Providing the retailer still has stock of them, you shouldn't have an issue. And if they don't, you should receive a full refund.

And for those who say the Pebble is worthless since it was bought by Fitbit; oh come on, it's still a fully functional basic smartwatch with excellent battery life. It will still tell the time and show notifications, as well as provide access to third party apps.

I have had my Pebble Classic for over a year and think it's fantastic. And it functions in exactly the same way since day one, even after Fitbit supposedly "killed" it.

That's a common issue. You should still be able to return it to where you bought it from
