As seen on TV in those gross adverts!

This is £9.99 on JML Direct and a similar price at their usual instore stockists (Boots, Wilkinson, Robert Dyas etc). If you need one and you're willing to wait a couple of weeks for shipping from Hong Kong, DealExtreme are doing them for $3.23, i.e. £2.26 delivered.

The pictures don't show the box so the item may not come retail packed, but not really a problem unless you're buying as a gift ;)

lmfao! :-D

what IS it?!?!?!
#6
FYI, this WON'T be a JML one - there are alot of poor quality imitations out there that can actually do your feet more harm than good, especially if it's coming from HK.

taken from the offical website:-

The original PedEgg™ is the revolutionary foot file that you’ve seen nationally advertised on TV. It's the newest and fastest way to make your feet feel smooth and healthy with NO MESS! The secret is PedEgg™'s precision micro-files that gently remove calluses and dead skin to give your feet the incredible baby soft look and feel that everybody loves. Two high quality emery buffing pads are included for the ultimate finishing touch. The unique “egg” shape of the PedEgg™ not only looks great, but is ergonomically designed to fit perfectly into the palm of your hand for easy and convenient use. Best of all, PedEgg™ has been designed to collect all the skin shavings in a convenient storage compartment allowing you to use it anywhere with no mess. You and your feet will love the new PedEgg™!

How do you know for sure that these are bad quality imitations? Because they are from "coming from HK"?
#13
looks like it's the JML one and at much less money! have to admit I've been secretly wanting one!
#14
Would not waste my money. The quality of these are really really poor. I got one from the local chemist at £4.99 and thought that was a real bargain - however it did absolutely nothing for my feet (and no, they are not that rough)

JML has never screamed quality at me.

Mmm I feel the needs to get scraping my feet!
#18
ive got the jml one and its total pants , the scrapings in the advert must have taken a few years to collect ,,, they are rubbish ,dont waste your money ,just buy a pedi file from boots

They sell them in the pound shop in Blackpool for £2.99 (don't ask - ive only just got my head round it), and on Ebay too.

The £2.99 one works great, and for £3.99 they have an handle.

My friend paid £9.99 for the JML one and mine works just aswell, although mine would probably pop a balloon, unlike the JML one (see advert).

This can be dangerous if you have inflatable feet.
#20
ive got the jml one and i think its excellent, my friend got one from market for couple of quid looked same box but when we compared them the blades were different and hers is rubbish so be carefull they do look like jml but dont work like jml :)
#21
hmmm controversy...
i am ridiculously tempted to buy this...if only to see if it really does work...
#22
i've been wanting one of these but have seen one in the avoon so have ordered it will see when it comes if it's any good personally £10 is far to much for a footfile lol but i would try this if the avon ones rubbish

I think you mean "foot file" - I don't think they call them "pedifiles", for obvious reasons...
#24
Why did they call them Ped-Eggs? The should have called them something more descriptive, something that tells you what they actually do. How about Pedo-Files?

Edit: Beat me to it......

All the swag shops and markets have them for £2.00

just use a cheese grater instead.
#31
They sell these in our local 99p stores but don't even waste 99p cause they are useless!
#32
I just use a flat-ended rough rock. Gets the job done although I hardly care about callous feet.
#33
Brought ours in the States 3 years ago, its great we brought spare blades at the time so still going strong.
They were on offer in Walmarts for $3-99.
And the scrapings --well its like a reward for your hardwork, you can see the results.:whistling:

Where do you think the JML one is made??
#35
My boy is always on about a peg egg when in the supermarket, they must advertise it on kids TV or something.
Foot files are about this price anyway so I think its worth a try, anythings got to be better than watching him pick at his feet.
#36
ive got one of these and although you do get results alot of scrapings (my feet arnt that bad) but they dont stay in the egg when your doing it like the advert mines still tend to comeout of the file only trick to not get that is doing it upside down which is difficult but still works at filing hope this helpssomeone
#37
Having used foot files my whole life due to a strange aversion I inherited about wearing shoes when I am at home, I can say the JML pedegg was WAY better than I expected. It's less hard work than those foot files. better results quicker, and yes the shavings are a bit gross, but it's better than the other way when you've got to soak your feet in the bath then have the bits floating! :) If these are the same (which I guess we won't know unless someone orders and lets us know) then go for it! Great price! If they're the cheap imitations then they probably won't work.
#38
BUMS! just spent £2.70 on a ordinary one!
