I picked up one of these yesterday. I'd been looking for a bin for a while but they seemed to be around the £25 mark.

Good stainless steel bin for £15.

Good deal, paid £31 for very similar item (slightly better as it has a metal base) from B&Q the other day. Matalan were selling similar for £32 also.

I was at homebase yesterday and my husband noticed these. We left it as i wanted a similar one but in cream but looking online they want around the 30 quid mark. So just reserved this one now, Shocked how expensive bins are these days lol

Things to look out for with these cheap bins.

Does it have a hard plastic bin inside because if it doesn't dumping the rubbish is a pain in the ass, and you can dent the surface of the bin if you put it on top the wheely bin to tip up.
2. PLastic bases are not good. If you push rubbish down into the bin to try to compress the rubbish, the metal bin can come away from the plastic base.

Not a bad price, though I have just purchased a 30L + 3Litre Brabantia pedal bin for £24.99 reduced from £99 including Bin Liners...Argos..Possibly a better buy (if you can find one)...as I took our original bin which we purchased from Homebase back..(fell apart)..

Overall I have taken just under £200 worth of purchases back to Homebase, after inferior workmanship..

Might be a good deal for the right budget..

Dont you use bin bags? My bin never leaves my kitchen!

It's a good offer, but I won't recommend Homebase's customer services at all. I reserved one of these bins earlier today and my girlfriend went out to Homebase to pick it up this afternoon, only to watch the Customer Services woman sell it to the customer in front of her in the queue, despite the label stating that it was our reserved item. When asked about it she showed no concern whatsoever, actually telling my girlfriend that she'd just sold the bin, despite it having my girlfriend's name on, and that it was the last one in stock.

I'm a long way from being impressed with Homebase and would think twice about buying anything from them in future.

I was in the shop yesterday when I saw this Bin. I was going to buy it, but luckly decided to check it.
It really is a bad quality bin, the lid wasnt even aligned. so I decided not to take it.

I wouldnt recommend it based on the build, price is good but whats the point if you are going to hate it.

Good luck!

Can't see the Brabantia for £24.99, still £33.33 as posted on here recently.

why are bins so expensive? I wish I'd seen this a few weeks ago - I just spent £35 on something that seems to be just the same....
