This is going to have limited appeal. It must only be a deal instore in Derby Costco and you do need to be a member to get in.

The deal is: There is a presentation pack "Celebrating 125 years of Derby County Football Club". It contains a bottle of Pedigree Exceptional Premium Ale, a glass and a free ticket to see Derby County play.

Now for the fun! If you are a Derby County fan look away now, however you must have a sense of humour to have supported them this long, so feel free to read on!

I don't know if they are paying you £8.79 to watch Derby County play or if you have to pay them.........

I think the ticket is only valid at matches that Derby lose - but that covers every game this season so far........

This is a great present for someone who hates football - If they love football they will cry if you give them this.......

Is it celebrating the fact that it is 125 years since Derby County won a trophy.......

Ooohhhh - c'mon - it's Christmas - have a laugh............ BUY ONE!

And before you ask.......

I am a Forest Fan so I have had to have a bigger sense of humour over the last few years and taken enough stick over it

would be worth gettin one of these just to get the match ticket, it costs me enough to go and see em when i aint at the Banks's Stadium,
any ideas how to get this pack without going to Costco? as i dont have membership for there, as it would make an ideal pressie for the other half who for his sins is a Derby fan

As you say - it is a good deal for a match ticket - despite all my humour! I have been to Pride Park and it is a nice stadium actually.

Forest do "Kids for a quid" matches - and Forest always seem to lose them!

I don't know if it is on in any more stores - other than Derby.

I will try and find out how long the deal is on for, I'll ring them tomorrow - there was a whole pallet of them instore. I didn't know Derby had that many fans......................... (Sorry!)

I feel silly......

Do you know how you get those not really paying attention moments.......

Well anyway I had one and read this (whilst not paying attention) aand wondered why a dog would need a glass and football ticket!!

It's ok I've verbally slapped myself for being so silly:oops:

Any idea on if there is a selection of games you can choose or if its any home game left this season?? Would be a bargain half season ticket if you could choose any games! 12 games, 12 pints, 12 glasses all for £105!!! :P

Derby County ale? Is that because it goes down well? :-D

It's a good offer, (nearly) a pint and a match for less than a tenner is good value, whoever it is!

(ps I'm a Tranmere fan, so I'm qualified to talk about rubbish teams... :whistling: )

Hey Derby Fan here well some of us have to be at least Derby made it in to the Premiership Did Forest????? No!

This is a great deal shame it can't be used for the Derby v Man U match

I have just had the devil's own job getting through on the phone. Apparently the tickets for the Man U game have just gone on sale and I rang at the same time as all three of the Derby Fans............... ;-)

Ticket office lines overflow to an outside agency and they did not have a clue!

I managed to find the number for the main stadium, (01332 667513), and spoke to a very nice young lady who told me that the offer is that you take the ticket in the box to the stadium ticket office and swap it for a match ticket for ANY home league game for the rest of the 2008/2009season. You cannot use the offer for any cup match - she was very specific on that.

Considering that the cheapest match ticket on the day is £25 for an adult and £15 for a youth/OAP and £11 for a child this really is a blinding deal. Allowing for £1 for the beer and 50p for the glass this makes the match ticket less than £7.50.

Derby County website has a list of all remaining losses  - sorry fixtures .................... :whistling:

Hope that answers all your questions.

That is just a history lesson, 2 European Cups don't count for Jack Sh!t this season for Forest do they? The record for the longest losing streak was the only thing you won last year - and nobody wants to talk about that! :whistling:

Go to any Derby or Forest game this season and if you take your boots you might get a game in the second half! Surely that should make this a red hot deal! ROFLMAO.

Ahem, 1994/5 Forest finished third in the Premier League. What's Derby's highest finish? Hows the trophy room going over at Prideless Park?

Worst team in history too?

Thanks for Lee Camp :-)

Looks like a great deal.

How did you's do today lads anyway? :whistling: ;-)

Now, Now - Let's not have a handbag fight girls! LOL

Despite not supporting Derby, I still think this was a good deal for a Championship League home game ticket.

Be careful who you step on on the way up - they might not be so nice on your way down!

You'd need to give me a ****ing crate of drink to get me back into Pride Park, soulless identikit **** hole, no atmosphere, the team's doing ***** and quite possibly the coldest place on earth on a nighttime kick off. Been going everytime we've had an away game there, went in the home end as well for 5/6 games a couple of years back when a mate had a spare ST, the stewards are absolute bell ends, can't believe our taxes are paying for some guy in a traffic warden cap to take videos of us all. Not to say the scabs' ground and stewards are any better mind.

Hot deal if you've any friends who are derby fans, though after last season's shambles my mate gave up his ST.

Up the wolves, i'll be there on the 13th of April ;-)

We were in there today and noticed it as well, a poor sad flat bed trolley with all the remaining ones left over.

I am really shocked.... There was a pallet load there when I posted this - by my reckoning all three DC fans must have bought 120 each....;-)

Joking aside - they must have sold well - and why not, it was a good offer despite all my humour.

We couldn't decide whether to buy more, just settled on going to see 2 games when it gets warmer. With this bargain the parking's going to cost more than the game. :)

My comment was aimed at someone who had a laugh, misunderstood something, made many people laugh and joined in the fun.

You on the other hand have just shown people that not only can you not spell the word **** properly, but that you are not able to have a laugh about this and that you are a well balanced person - you have a chip on each shoulder.:whistling:

I specifically said in other posts that I do not live in the past, Forest's history counts for nothing and I can laugh at myself as well as my team, as did other people who posted in here (i.e. Jayroller).

You on the other hand cannot seem to get over your other record last year - the longest losing streak in history.:w00t:

Chin up - now the other one!

Anyone looking for a managers job - I here there is one going at Prideless Park.

Get over yourself - I have! You have just made my day by your rant, until you turned up this was all just good humoured fun - fill yer boots numpty! ;-)

please explain what **** is ?

I have no chip on my shoulder it`s just being called passionate about ones football team .
something the good people of nottingham will never understand . I`ts not my fault that forest
fans have to sit in an antiquated ground surrounded by empty seats . :)

please now go take your medicine
