Amazingly funny show, great deal, cannot wait for season 7.
#3
great price
#4
Hot-

All episodes are on 4od if anyone is desperate to watch theses

If you have the convenience of your puter near enough your TV, and a fast enough broadband connection, then you can watch all the series from 1 to 6 on 4OD.

Heat added though, as it is a great show....and the DVD collection may contain other material.
#6
very hot thanks! Great show kind of reminds me of me sometimes although that is hard to admit!
#7
just in case people don't realise, this is also on 4od for free
banned#8
You'd probably be better off waiting until 1-6 is this price, which based on how this and the 1-4 boxset dropped, shouldnt take too long....

Series 6 is a bit of a "return to form" too after it going a little downhill in either 4 or 5 (i forget...)

I hear you both, but.......................

I'm old-fashioned, I like to have the dvds and at this price it's hardly breaking the bank for 12 hours of what I regard as quality entertainment:thumbsup:

Yeah I'd pay £12.99 to not have to watch the same 4 adverts for F word, Gok Wan, Secret Millionaire and Peep Show over and over on 4od.................

But if you've never seen it before might be worth checking it out on there first

No I understand....if you have money to spend on a DVD box set that you will maybe watch just once or twice....but if you can get something for free, what not take advantage of it....regardless of the adverts etc....afterall, it is the adverts on there that allow you to watch it without actually passing any money over the counter or typing in a pin, or typing in a cedit/debit card number etc.

I only caught the last 2 series of this prog, and used 4OD to see what it was like from the beginning....glad they changed the theme tune

As you mentioned earlier, this might have bonus material, and I can confirm that the DVDs do indeed have bonus material.

I take it however that your own DVD (or is it VHS?) collection must be extremely limited, because with that sort of logic you may as well wait for every film to be shown on tv to take full advantage. It is amazing how many shows are repeated on tv, yet people still buy the DVDs.....probably because people like to own shows they are fond of, on a format they can play back at their own convenience.

Would that be on professor Yaffles computer? Thats if big Suze doesnt delete his address book first - he practically crucified Jeremy the day he changed his home page!

Great Show, top three Uk shows of the Noughties I reckon (particularly first 3 series).

I settled down to watch the very first episode the other day, a quarter of a day later I had watched 3 series.

However It is on 4od for free, so not a great deal for me.

Best comedy of the 00's for me.

Big Suze
#27
Nancy any day without a doubt.

People who are thinking about 4od, the picture quality is so poor, especially compared to iplayer or the DVD, and those bloody annoying ads come up all the time. I'd rather download them all as divx dvdrips and watch them on my PS3 but I wouldn't do that would I? :whistling:

Forget all of them, Dobby is the best! :-D
#32
Dibs on Dobby too... I wouldnt mind her sloppy seconds. She is a kind of kooky Amy Williams (the lass who won gold in the Winter Olympics for sledging).
