Picture is in post 4 to prove. Instore in Asda, had a few. Part of their TV dvd sale.

Mark Corrigan and Jeremy 'Jez' Osborne are caught up in a familiar malaise; the two housemates are constantly at each other's throats as they struggle to find a direction in life. Jez has aspirations to become a musician, but his ambition stops outside his bedroom door. Meanwhile, Mark is stuck in an interminable office job, cursing the day he chose Business Studies over Ancient History. Throughout the series the pair find love--Mark with co-worker Sophie, and Jez with American hippy Nancy and later with his disarmingly posh ex 'Big Suze'--marry for a visa, propose by accident, get jilted, go to Mauritius, and return having learnt nothing at all. In fact it's the show's lack of 'lessons being learnt' and characters 'growing up and moving on' that makes it so refreshing.
Aside from strong lead performances by David Mitchell and Robert Webb and the finely honed script, the fact that viewers are able to hear the innermost thoughts of Mark and Jeremy as they encounter various problems makes their characters all the more vulnerable, sympathetic and often just plain pathetic. The result is a well-observed comedy for anyone who spends life at the mercy of their own hesitant thoughts.

ah i was looking on the asda online site and saw that a couple of items under the 1-5 boxset was 1-6 and series 6 but didnt think to click on them, but have just looked a little closer and see that release date isnt til begining of september oopsie me:oops: sorry if i got peoples hopes up,

link to the 1-6 boxset is http://www.asda-entertainment.co.uk/asda/10025027.product

but at £45 youre better off buying 1-5 then series 6 on its own.

You can watch it all free on the 4oD player thing.

Im not sure why people say this. For £10 you have a physical copy of the program, that you can watch properly on the TV...

Fantastic deal, have some heat & rep

When is the new series on?
#17
Great deal. £2 per SERIES of brilliant comedy! I was happy buying in Asda at £15.

There are some very funny extras too - especially Mark's bizarre attempt at a 'Bravo 2 Zero' narration!
#18
Offer not in the Scunthorpe store as they have it priced at £16.
Even got them to check it on their tills for me.
Not a bad price still though.
#19
Superb!

Just got it in store for £8.

Box stickered at £10, went through till at £16, trip to CS for a whinge and (once I mentioned it -sheesh - don't get me started on that one!!!) a £2 gift voucher.

Never watched a single episode but with so many fans it can't be that bad!

Hot!

Still series 6 & 7 to come out though:

On 15 May 2008, a sixth series of Peep Show was commissioned. It was announced during the first broadcast of the fifth series.

On 18 March 2009, Channel 4 commissioned a seventh series of Peep Show, before the sixth series was broadcast. It has been scheduled for 2010.

cnt wait ^^

£16 at Asda Longwell Green. Suspect someone at the OP's store misread 16 as 10 and priced accordingly!

Not correct. Other people from other parts of the country have found it. I doubt they would all be marking it wrong

£2??

See my previous post.

If you are overcharged at ASDA, the policy is to give you a £2 gift voucher per transaction.
Now the two issues with htis policy are :

a: What constitutes "a transaction"? If I buy three tins of beans and am overcharged, is that one transaction or three?

b: I find I almost never get the voucher without having to remind the CS of the policy. I have spoken to CS managers instore and at HO, they always trot out the line that all CS staff are aware of the policy etc etc blah blah blah.

£16 in Leeds owlcotes center

decided to buy anyway, wondering if it's worth going back on my
lunch tomorrow for refund

to the guy that went to cs for refund, what did you tell them?
#30
Didnt really have to argue this one as till receipt said £16, sticker on box said £10. Got my £6 overcharge, then casually asked if I should get a gift voucher as I had been overcharged.
