Another one for those that are snapping up Qs from Amazon now they're nice and cheap - A fast telephoto zoom that you can fit in a (not too small) pocket!

Equivalent to roughly 85–250mm on the Q and Q10, and if you upgrade to the Q7 at some point, it works out around 70-200mm, which is a pretty standard range, though getting that for your full frame camera will set you back around ten times this price.

It's from SRS Microsystems with a 2 year guarantee, which is nice, and it's the cheapest I can find. There is another listing from Japan, but the customs charges etc are not included, so it'll most likely cost just as much whilst arriving a lot later.

Oh, and these are new uboxed stock, so most likely just removed from camera and lens kits.

Got a confirmation email to say it's due to be dispatched today using Parcelforce Express 24, so I'm guessing it'll be here tomorrow. Nice and fast!

Slightly cheaper from Microglobe and it comes in a retail box LINK

Good find! Though I'd probably still go with SRS and the 2 year warranty.
Microglobe seem to be a bit hit and miss with grey imports/listing out of stock items etc, but might be worth a punt

Hmm... can't seem to enter payment details through for something else on there... I'll have to have a fiddle on another PC

EDIT - Wouldn't let me enter payment info for their '£0.00' postage, only when I select from the paid postage options.

Ah - they want £8 postage, which takes it up to only a couple of pounds less than from SRS. Worth it if you order a few things at the same time, though.

Although I buy most of my Pentax DSLR stuff from SRS I bought the 15-45mm from Microglobe and it was fine, received in a couple of days. It was a lot cheaper than the SRS price at the time though.

Yeah, it's weird giving the option of free/£0.00 postage but then not letting you go through with it. Still, some of their stuff is quite cheap, though some stuff is really expensive (there's the Fuji X10 for £469, which is about double the price at the mo)
