Not true.

Pentax compact digitals cameras generally have good reviews.

My girlfriend has one, and it's pretty good.

For £60, this is a decent compact camera

I want to spend up to £150 on a digital camera. Obviously, needs to include video recording. Does anyone know any good deals or camera's to look/go for?

Stick to the camera companies (Canon, Nikon etc) - personally, I prefer the Canon Ixus range but you could also look at the Panasonics which generally get pretty good reviews.

@ Toffee31:
Shutter speed is not usually the only issue. It will be a combination of image stabilisation, ISO rating, shutter speed, available light, focussing speed, movement of subject and camera. This camera has a max shutter speed of 1/2000 sec so in good light you'll find it hard to get blurry pictures.
