Seems a good deal. Swop the weak kit lens for better glass and you have a really nice high spec camera for not a lot.

HOT!

Pentax have been suffering from the Samsung GX20 outselling it due to price difference for what is effectively the same camera, so they've had to drop their price by the look of things.

I've got the GX20, which now looks expensive!

Sadly, Pentax moved away from AA batteries. Not even their official batteriy grip allows for AA batteries (other's do, e.g. Canon). IMO, this was an error of judgement by the Pentax marketing department. I would never buy a camera which does not allow for AA battery backup no matter how good a camera is. With a film camera you could get away with no batteries if you know what you are doing, but a digital camera is no use without battery power. (And before you point out that Lithium batteries are so much better, I am aware of this and my comments relate to backup batteries).

Not a bad thing in my opinion. I have the Samsung GX10 and is just goes and goes. I`ve never s yet had to rely on my spare battery

Does anyone know the difference between the K20D and the K-m which is the only one i can see @ Jessops for this price
