Here's the blurb about the camera - seems pretty good spec for the price. Only on offer today in their 1 day deals although even the full price is quite good:

With the focus on ease of use, the PENTAX Optio RZ10, offers a 10x wide angle optical zoom lens, perfect for a wide variety of subjects and occasions, from landscape to people, sports to pets. The attractive exterior hides a multitude of advanced features and functions, to make capturing images and video, simple but fun. These include dual shake reduction for the unsteady hand, a 14 Megapixel sensor, an upgraded Auto Picture mode and an HD video function.

Optical 10x zoom lens for a variety of subjects and scenes - lens covering focal lengths from 28mm wide angle to 280mm telephoto. An intelligent zoom function allows the zoom range to be extended to 67x (1876mm) in the 35 mm format. With macro photography as close as 1cm you can be sure of capturing your subject near or far.

Dual Shake Reduction to assure sharp images - combines mechanical and digital shake reduction systems which minimize camera shake to achieve the highest quality blur-free images. The RZ10 also has HD Movie recording - records movie clips in high definition HDTV resolution.

Can't go wrong at this price. Read reviews saying it may look like a toy, but build quality, and components make it a fine camera.
If it only took off the shelf AA I'd prolly buy. But great price, 'nuff said and read.
That said my five year old camera is becoming obsolete for reasons other than battery life- 1Gb max SD card, knocks and falls, shutter lag, but at £50 I think I'll hold on to it for now.
Looks horrible, (though, at least it's the black version and not the lurid lilac variety) but is very well specced indeed for a camera at that price. Reviews recommended it as good value 8/10 at £130 ! You will not get another camera at this price that has a 10 x Opticakl Zoom. Plus Pentax are a very long-standing reliable brand. If I hadn't bought so many cameras through the bargains found on HUKD already, I'd nab one as wee cheapie back-up or pressie for someone.
Good price, but mixed reviews. Always hard to decide with tech items as the price they are often reviewed at is the rrp or price when first released. Maybe not the best camera for the c£100 price, but good deal at £70.

good price for such a well specced pocket camera
Good price, but mixed reviews. Voted hot for the price though as it is a good reduction.

The review is gernally positive, reviewed when the camera was at the £170 price point just 6 months ago, I think at the £70 mark it is a really good deal. I think the final comments the review makes sum the camera up:
If image quality is higher on your shopping list than features or price, then look away now

Very good one for this price, just take it as a daily use camera, don't be too serious.

Yes, good point. I personally love the Nikon Coolpix P90 (a little dated and there's an upgraded model) with the fantastic flip screen but it's bulky, more than twice the price and therefore a different kettle of fish. For something you want to pop in your pocket (without looking like you're a little 'over excited' at the prospect of photography) this seems great. Hmm, do I hold out for the P90 to come down in price or settle for something not quite the same but much cheaper… decisions, decisions!
Oh, and don't forget Quidco! May save a few more pennies.
Ordered, thanks.
Thanks, just ordered one
