A lot of camera specs for the money. Wish I needed one.

Still image quality is something of a let-down, particularly when shooting in anything less than perfect lighting conditions.

Since IQ is no. 1 in my criteria, this wouldn't be for me. Try Samsung WB700 series for better IQ/specs and better price (Argos outlet £65)

Samsung WB750 in Jessops for £100.

Not what the cNet review I posted says. They seemed top think the image quality was very good, only really complaining about the plastic casing and buttons.

I remember buying a Samsung camera a few years ago, oled screen, hd movie etc. The image quality was very poor. It just lacked something and I could not figure it out. Needless to say I returned it and would not buy another Samsung, I appreciate that some will say they are good but I have Found the lumix cameras to be far better with image quality.

Yes, Samsung electronics are very good but, sadly, their cameras have never cut it. Lumix are, needless to say, in a different class.

I bought this 2 weeks ago thanks to a deal on here. It arrived in time for my trip to Brazil. The camera is amazing. A little bit thicker than the usual compact cameras so I had to buy a new case. My only issue, but no biggy, unlike my old Samsung, you have to take the battery out of the camera and charge it in an adapter. But like I said no biggy!

I got some fantastic shots with super high quality detail. The zoom is awesome and there are loads of different modes to set the tone you are looking for. Not to mention face and smile recognition.... and panarama. I used this setting a lot!
