This is selling for £135+ on ebay and £180 online elsewhere. Not the greatest camera in the world but with a 7x optical with no extending barrel its a great pocket camera - also very light.

Can't order online except with a bundle but is available in most stores.

With a fully internal 7x zoom lens, the Pentax Optio Z10 gets you right into the action. It also boasts 8.0 megapixel resolution and a generous 2.5" LCD monitor.

Long zoom range
Equipped with a 7x zoom lens that never protrudes from the camera you can zoom from the equivalent of 38-266mm in 35mm film terms. This can be augmented to 35.7x when combined with the digital zoom function. Of course when taking pictures with this much zoom available, camera shake could be a problem. However help is at hand with the Optio Z10 because it uses Digital Shake Reduction allowing ISO settings of up to 3200 to be used, effectively freezing the action.

Face Detection AF & AE
The Optio Z10 has a particularly advanced form of this software that can detect up to 15 faces within 0.03 seconds. This ensures that they are correctly exposed and in focus.

High resolution LCD screen
Has a 2.5", 230,000 pixel LCD monitor with a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees making it easier to compose and share your photos.

Digital Wide Angle
Gives you extra field of view when you need that extra wide perspective (5MP mode resolution)

Also features the following:

8 megapixel resolution allowing for stunning quality even when enlarged
Sliding lens cover

It's a good price for this camera, and if you really must have a very compact camera with a decent optical zoom but no protruding lens for about this money then it's probably a good buy, if not the only buy!

However, if you're prepared to lose a few of those features then I belive you can get a better camera with better image quality for about the same money. I know the Easter Canon cashback deal has finished now, (although I would expect it to reappear August Bank Holiday) but I bought the Canon A720is for about £105 which has a 6x zoom and will take much better pictures.

I'm not going to vote either way on this one as I think there are better alternatives, but it does have it's own uniqueness (is that a word?)

Also, just noticed 9% Quidco at Jessops until Tuesday, and you can get 10% off with QUIDCOTEN voucher. Don't know if the Quidco will work with collect in store though.
