I love that they have to tell what a perennial is. Every year? Really. Thy will be dead on a ditch trolley by the next day as staff never water plants at aldi, lidl, bargain/pound shops. Boo.

Cheers OP, think I'll grab some of these.

Forgot to say... agreed about the watering, must cost then thousands each year for the sake of a watering can and two minutes work

and they still try and sell them - who would buy a dead plant?

Aldi should not be allowed to sell fresh plants etc.I think they just dispose of them when they dry up due to lack of water.Have you ever seen any of their staff watering the plants.

I like Aldi but I have to agree with he above comments. Every time they sell plants they bool out a trolley full of parched (usually all dead) messes. And if they don't sell within a few days they just wither away and rot and yet they leave them on display - pretty unbelievable.

I read somewhere that they're not allowed to water them because of health and safety issues, not sure if it's true but pretty believable! Suppose if they watered them and someone slipped on the water, they'd sue in this day and age. Pretty sad really.

They are not allowed to water them .. Health and safety, I asked the manager. Great quality plants though
