I meant looked to be a slightly better spec over all not looks nicer.
It does curve a bit I think the contrast between the different materials exaggerates how much. Went from a Microsoft sidewinder X5 to it and the only thing that felt weird was going from the thumb buttons being one on top the of the other to three in a line.
Fits my hand perfectly, have done quite a bit of gaming since I got it and it has felt nice and comfortable the whole time.

Cheers :) I just bought your one, I use old School Intellimouse dated 1998, love my mouse ;) lol

I looked at that mouse when I recently bought a new one, ended up going with this http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet%C2%AE-Precision-Programmable-Cartridge-Switches/dp/B00CSTJIWM/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1391013076&sr=1-1&keywords=tecknet
Slightly cheaper higher DPI looked to be slightly better.
Has been great so far

I agree with most of what you say apart from but does not look slightly better (in my opinion) prefer the gap at the top of this one, should make it easier to keep clean round the wheel, and the one you linked to looks like it is angles slightly to the right where as this one looks straighter, or is that a picture illusion?
these perixx mice are great i have tried this one as a friend owns it and i own one of the perixx 307r ones for use with a laptop and it works great for almost a year with heavy use. although im not so keen on their keyboards.
