Wilkinsons currently have on offer Persil Comfort Naturals for half price at 98p however on the bottle there is a removable £1 off coupon. Easily remove the coupon, it is attached to the lid by a piece of tape, before or at the till and hand it in and get £1 off so if you are buying other bits you get 2p back. I picked up 2 bottles ended up getting them for free and got 4p back. You can do this its not underhand or anything because you are actually buying them so you can use the coupon.
You can use the £1 off on any Naturals range or better still use them in Tesco or Asda against anything.

If you dont feel like doing it invest 98p buy a bottle take the coupon off, go back in get the same again and use the coupon. You then get it for free and you get another coupon, you could go on and on.

Not sure on this one. Defacing and taking a voucher off a product that you have not paid for and so still belongs to the store and not you. Some jobsworth in Wilko might see that as fraud?
#3
it isnt most stores let you do it, inc wilks asda etc. any way she seen me take them off and didnt batter an eye lid.

If you dont feel like doing it why not use your head and invest 98p buy a bottle take the coupon off, go back in get the same again and use the coupon. You then get it for free and you get another coupon, you could go on and on.

That one was Tesco - the points he got were worth more than the price he paid. He bought about £200 and was tying to give them away to anyone who'd take them.

That guy in Asda was with cheese. He ended up with a pallet load of cheddar. He tried to tell the manager his offer meant he got the cheese and cash for his trouble - when the manager dismissed him he 'bought' the lot - and was given £40 for his trouble. People should listen!!

My other half didn't know this (neither did I till I just read it ) and they told her she couldn't use them and so she made them refund/return the half dozen she was buying.

Will know what to do next time now :)

Thanks

please correct me if im wrong but the £1 vouches are on COMFORT naturals bottles , the £1 discount is for PERSIL naturals range , so if you just take the £1 vouches off and try to redeem they will say its not off the comfort ( as i found out ) ? regarding the persil on the back it just say recommended by persil ?

depends on who serves you, but as I said you still have a £1 voucher that most tescos and asda take without actually buying the product so either way you are quids in.

i saw this the other day but cba with the challenge of persauding them to take it... so i took the voucher off every bottle on the shelf for when they are on offer fair and square :whistling:

Wilko's wouldn't accept them against the 'comfort' naturals fabric softener - said only on 'PERSIL' naturals - eg wash powder only - tried to argue with them it was the same thing - they wouldn't have it!
Morrisons didn't bat an eyelid - just took the voucher against the softener.
In Asda you must buy the product to use the voucher!:whistling:

I had the same problem as others Lad on checkout said can only be used on Persil naturals not on comfort naturals and also the persil was £1.98 not .98p. Manager also said you must pay for the item first b4 using voucher! So cold from me soz, gud idea if it works 4 others so rep 4 the heads up:thumbsup:

Just to say that a email has been sent out to all stores about this so you might get some resistance but even my boss said that at the end of day wilkos will still get their money

love these

Managed to get 22 bottles today - (greedy some may say, but if you've got the bottle (pardon the pun) to do it why not) - but on the third time of going in they said they have had this mistake before and it is for the Persil range only. Could not be bothered to argue the toss as I felt I had enough anyway!
Heat added, just wish I could add more.

Tesco do not take coupons off any product any more. You must buy the exact product to use the coupon, this happened quite a while ago now. The same goes for all my local Asda's.
With regard to OP, they wouldnt take my coupon as they said it must be the persil range, but I'll keep them as they're sure to come on offer in another supermarket before July.

I nearly had an argument with cashier when i took 3 bottles to the cash desk with the coupons on. She said the coupon is only £1 off Persil Naturals NOT Comfort Naturals. So you literally have to buy both products to get the £1 off.. So I said, are you sure ? It says Persil on the back of the comfort bottle, her reply was it says recommended by Persil. So I bought 5 bottles of comfort in all, at 98p each instead of £1.98. = just under £5 instead of £10. Went looking for Persil Naturals liquitabs and found it was half price at £1.98 instead of £3.98. So i got 5 of them for 98p with voucher ! = £5 instead of £20 !:-D So in all I got 5 comfort for half price, and 5 persil for quarter of the price ! £10 for £30 worth of stuff !! I love a bargain !! It turned out a better bargain all round !:-D:thumbsup:
