Persona 4 PS Vita - HMV -£4.99

£4.99 @ HMV
Had a sleeveless copy in my local that they told me was £4.99, although wouldn't sell it to me without a case. Also, had a friend buy a copy of Trigger Happy Havoc for the same price.

Hmmm, wonder if they will sell it to anyone else?

Had sleeveless games for sale a few weeks ago but said it was not policy to sell sleeveless games. I was just as confused.

The cartridge itself was behind the counter with the other games named P-S.

I'm not disputing the fact they had sleeveless games pal, My query is why you assumed this could be seen as a deal when the deal you saw was not made available to you?

Because they checked on their system if they had any copies, confirmed it was £4.99 and had a look behind the counter through the loose cartridge box and found the single copy their system said they had. He said he'd look round the back for the case, and i had another look on the shop floor; neither of us found anything.

If there are copies in other stores then it should be £4.99.

But.....Like your Mario post, It seems to be very much store specific as the Mario you state you saw for £4.99 was seen in Newcastle at £9.99, and if it's store specific, this post is absolutely absurd as nobody can purchase the item?

If anyone can get me a physical copy even if it is sleeveless I will be happy to pay around £10 for it including postage.

How is P4G for £4.99 cold?! Sleeveless or not.

As it seems to have been a freak occurrence and they won't sell it whilst sleeveless?

I got one of these over the weekend for £4.99 from Oxford Street HMV!

They had none on display but I asked the cashier and they had some behind the counter (well at least 1 - not sure how many more they have in stock but I think maybe only 1 or 2 more).

Thanks OP!

Can someone explain to me what I'm missing with this game. I've sunk 4 hours into this and just can not get into it. The daft pokemon esque monsters and old school style rpg combat just don't pull me in..

thing to remember is its a ps2 port, but you really need to be an old skool JRPG fan to full appreciate it, but on the other hand its just not some peoples kind of game.

there is also an anime but if you watch that it does spoil the story.

this is certainly not the biggest waste of time ever though, im over 200 hours in and still finding things to do. for me its like the sims meets rpg which is a nice change to just fighting all the time.

To be honest, I'm not a JRPG fan by any means, this was the first I'd properly tried one. I never liked games such as final fantasy either... but I love this game, only got it the other day and have already played 10+ hours!

But yeah if it's not your type of game, then that's personal preference I guess :)
