Why on earth have they tried to make it look like a portable dvd player when it isnt. The area where the screen would go jsut looks silly. Still, despite its appearance, it is a good deal.

Dave.

SHOCKING DESIGN.dab,cd,stereo speakers, rechargeable, delivery free,PRETEND DVD PLAYER LOOKS.for 20quid you'll struggle to get a just a mono dab radio on its ownso it has to be a good offer.SHOCKING DESIGN THOUGH!

I was looking for a DAB player to connect to my stereo and this one has a line-out, and a spare pair of cheapo active speakers can always come in handy.

Strange design, and the radio/CD has rechargeable batteries but the speakers haven't.

This model was launched in 2002:

The manual is on
http://www.goodmans.co.uk/content/ug/GCD200ACTIVE.pdf?language=en-GB

For just £20 will give it a try (a mono DAB radio will normally cost about £30 so this is a great deal, as long as the radio works)

DAB is never going to take off. All the manufacturers will soon be giving them away, before all the broadcasters flick the off switch.

no blu ray, no HD DVD, what a piece of rubbish, you fool, go away.

garbage456 - before you attack people I suggest you acquire an understanding of the concept of new and outdated technology :(
#26
site (or rather that specific link) dead now -- like their error handling too ;-)
#27
Still not available - Is this offer now dead?
#28
link seems to be working again..

Received mine yesterday as stated on the order.

nice piece of kit for the price... You need two sockets though to run it from mains... one for unit and one for speakers.
