Control Reality

Real Touch

See how different players control the ball in unique and different ways based on where and how you control them, dictating the flow of the game based on how they react to the unpredictable movement of the ball

Precise Pass

Combining Real Touch and real ball physics, passing is an art form in PES 2017. Many factors determine the speed and accuracy of the ball. The pass that is made on the best situation and timing will generate a perfect trajectory, creating a great satisfaction when a killer pass is made

Goal Keeping

Keepers see a great jump in quality through added motions and animations, creating the most agile keepers in PES history. Attacking moments will be more dramatic than ever, bringing the best feeling of achievement when that goal is scored

Advanced Instructions

Strategies that are quite individually defined such as Tiki-taka and Tight Marking which is strongly based on team ideology can be set in Advanced Instructions, which adds a huge variety in how you plan to win

Total Team Control

Users can instantly change the attacking and defending mentality of the team, which can be tweaked and carefully controlled with simple controls, being able to immediately react to the unpredictability of the sport

Corner Kick Strategies

Control the defensive strategies on a set piece, such as marking zonal or Man to Man. Offensive options also included such as specific player movement

Adaptive AI

For the first time in a football game, the AI will learn how you play! Player and team behaviour has always been a staple of the PES series, and for PES 2017 Adaptive AI will change sports games forever

Authentic Visuals

For PES 2017 the visuals have seen a major upgrade, offering Authentic Visuals thanks to the further incorporation of Fox Engine. Nothing has been left untouched, from player models, lighting, crowds, pitch and stadiums totally revamped. Never has a game looked so real

Natural Player Movement

Hundreds of new animations have been added to bring the players and goalkeepers to life – but it doesn't stop there. New features such as Real Touch and Precise Pass see huge benefit, giving a vast array of movements when trapping and passing the ball

Maybe means they release before FIFA so that FIFA doesn't steal all the sales? Then they reduce it after FIFA releases?

I always thought buying FIFA or PES was down to preference, like anything. you wouldn't buy one based on release date surely?

Or it's a case of FIFA Fanboys trolling :)

Played FIFA 17 demo, was a chore, Played PES 2017 demo, was a joy to play.

Took me all of about 2-3 games of PES demo to decide which one to get.

Will still get FIFA to play against my mates online, when all the bundled copies get sold on :D

Expensive seeing as its been as cheap as £26 already with Tesco.

I was gutted i missed it at that price, went into Tesco's after their "mess up" and seen it was £36 on the shelf and the empty cases which had the PES barcode said £42. Taking the **** !!

Ordered it from Amazon as soon as i left the store for £36.

Takes a while to add all the option files for the most authentic experience you can get. :D

Well said and I felt exactly the same.

When's the latest delivery despatch time?
#13
disappointed with pes. it used to keep fifa honest
#14
I'm so tempted, but I'm gonna hold off a week or so, cos all these fifa bundled games being sold means that the price of fifa will drop so we should see a similar pes price drop I'd guess.

If it hits £25 in the next week I'll bite.

Where did you get the option file from please. There are so many on ebay ranging from 99p right through to £10 plus. I don't want to get scammed. Can you help please

Simple. Buy PES for an authentic football game or buy FIFA for all the bells and whistles. Patches are available for PES which gives it all the bells and whistles!

PESworld. Just google it. Free to download.

You should never have to pay for an option file, those scammers are just selling someone else's hard work when the original creators give it away for free. Pes world is the most well known site but there's a few other free forums that do it too.

or search for PES 2017 PS4 DFL Option File 2017 v3.0 by Cristiano92.

Mix and match them if you will but the DFL one is top notch, have to remember to disable live update otherwise some changes will be reset.

I will be getting both, but I'm getting FIFA pretty much exclusively for The Journey. PES will be played much more.

I was literally on the verge of selling this PES, as I couldn't get the defending at all. Spent a few days on it and wow, the gameplay is fantastic.

I received FIFA yesterday, and have only had one session of Fifa and it made me appreciate even more how good PES is this year. Will most likely be putting up FIFA for sale in the near future

is online play still shocking like last years
#24
Only have demo at the moment, £25 I will buy at. Not willing to spend any more especially as I have Xbox One which cannot import option files. Shouldn't take long to hit £25

Played many games in Myclub online with no problems. Seems to be fine this year too.

I switched from Fifa last year (hated 16) bought PES 16 and it was so much fun to play. Bought PES 17 release day from Argos for £36, totally worth it. Best football game by far, I've played loads of games online and only had 2 disconnects, it does sometimes take longer than usual to find a match but that's ok as the PES community rarely disconnect games when they go a goal down unlike Fifa.

Any one can check if there is any language options to choose from start? Usuallu Uk prices are cheaper, and i like to know if i can choose Portuguese audio and menu.
