The UK hasnt had a comedian with a bigger impact than Peter Kay. His stand-up material has related so well to the general public of Britain that hes become one of the biggest comedians of the 21st Century, even winning a Perrier Award. His character work in TV shows like Phoenix Nights and the spin-off Max & Paddys Road to Nowhere have also given him success through television as well. This Double Bumper Comedy Compilation includes two DVDs showcasing his best work: Special Kay, and Stand Up UKay.
Special Kay is a collection of Peter Kay in various formats. His stand-up bits from Children in Need and Comic Relief, Live 8, as well as his time on the Catherine Tate Show will make you chuckle. Youll be able to see Kays appearances on Coronation Street, Parkinson and Jonathon Ross, and the music video for his character Geraldines The Winners Song. Youll also get to see his debut performance at The Last Laugh.

Combining Kays material with interviews of the public, Stand Up UKay is a greatest hits version of his stand-up material. Youll see Kays most popular bits, like his problems with dunking biscuits into tea, the well-known Garlic Bread joke, and how families typically act at weddings. Youll get to hear how the general public feel about Kays observational humour. The extras include the bloopers to the interviews, and a cover of The Proclaimers (Im Gonna Be) 500 Miles for Comic Relief. Matt Lucas (Little Britain) sings along with Kays character Brian Potter as Andy Pipkin.
