Manchester only...oh well.
#2
10 dates and all in Manchester, good work Peter Kay :|
#3
Also, these ticket prices are ****ing high aren't they!!! For a comedian, you rarely pay what is potentially £43 a ticket? I think they add a £4.50 booking fee per ticket on ticketmaster now?

Ricky Gervais is the most expensive comedian I've paid to see at £33.50.
#4
managed to get 2 tickets for top tier (might as well be sat in my own lounge watching the video) and the price.... nearly £80 for the pleasure. no thanks:x
#5
That is expensive! Peter Money grabbing Kay!
#6
Gutted he is just in Manchester, I love him but not driving 4.5 hours from Horley to get there, stay in a hotel, then drive 4.5 hours back........Peter, you need to do a tour!
#7
ps. if you joined the Peter Kay club you had access to pre-sale tickets at 8am this morning.

nope they include booking fee

My OH loves him but a) it's too far and b) it's too expensive!

That'll be a no then... ;-)
#11
more now \!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#12
Think I will wait for a dvd as I think it will not be as good as his previous stuff. He was annoying rather than funny the other day on Radio 1.
#13
I remember when he was funny. Hey maybe those with tickets will be lucky enough to hear him sing 'he Winners Song', because that was so clever and funny... Oh sorry actually it was stating the obvious.
#14
is anyone else having trouble getting on?? keeps saying sorry can find match. ive joined the mailing list and got the link that means i can buy at 8am
#15
havent voted.but surely this is cold

£40 for a comedian
ok he is funny

but clearly as he is making a (one-off) comeback he wants to milk the money in

but the price will drop in a few days/weeks
#16
If you've seen one of his stand up's you've seen them all imo, he squeezes the life out of the same material.
I don't know if it's just me but i used to think he was realy funny but now i think he's a right pain in the @rse.

You should be a comedian if you think tickets are still going to be available in a few weeks lol.

well said totally overrated now

It's 'The Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour' followed by 'The Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour DVD' and 'The DVD You've Seen Before But Shot From A Different Angle DVD' and finally 'The DVD Of The Jokes You've Heard Before But On A Different Night DVD'
#20
He's a very funny man. I got tickets, just got to keep trting. Of course they will sell out. I'm glad he's just doing Manchester - Southerners don't get the jokes anyway.
#21
upto 14 dates now lol
#22
Thanks to the people that posted the presale link. the tickets availible erer not that good, i'll wait till 11 when the floor seats will be on sale. As for the numptees's that are slagging off Peter Kay, don't buy his tickets!!! Simples.

cant get any tickets for any dates.... all saying tickets not available. If i wait until 11 will they release more floor seats? thanks
#24
Used to like him, and I still think Pheonix nights and Max and Paddy are the best sitcoms I have ever seen, they still make me laugh, but now I find him annoying. Like everyone else has said, milking it with the same jokes.

If you get tickets, Tell him to bring back max and paddy! or Something decent cos I thought Geraldine 'whats her face' was a waste of time!
#25
I heard him the other day on Chris Moyles, then later in the day he was on This Morning telling the same jokes !

Phoenix Nights was a clasic but probably because he didnt write hardly any of if but he took all the credit
#26
no way I'd travel to Manchester or pay £40 to see Peter Kay
voted cold because it's overpriced and only in Manchester
and, just to top it off, they're already for sale on ebay... FFS!!

"not that good" - i picked up floor seats, 8 rows from front, right side of stage. :whistling:

edit - forgot to say for a saturday night as well!

OMG, how wrong are you?
I'm a 'Southern' and I laughed so much at his old DVDs, I nearly peed a bit in my pants (lucky I had tena lady on)!! ;-)
#29
surely its unfair people are voting this cold just because they personally dont like peter kay and because he is only doing manchester? ..... some sites are selling these tickets for 80.00 so this is a good price even if you dont like him ...
#30
Got 4 tickets at 08:00 this morning for Sat 08 may, free overnight stay at holiday inn with my points and then Man utd on the sunday against stoke, last game of the season. :-)
#31
Its being voted cold because these tickets are a terrible price for a comedian.
Im going to see Jason Manford tomorrow night, (from 8 out of 10 cats), i've seen him before, and he is absolutely brilliant. As good, if not better than Kay (who i admit is very good)
Ticket price?

£18.

Freezing cold deal.
Nuff said.

get to see john bishop, similar price so funny
#33
Jimmy Carr is around £20 but we usually group book it for £16 each.

Gervais is expensive at £33.
#34
I saw Jason Manford last week and he was brilliant. Just booked tickets to see him next year on new tour too - still way cheaper than PK

going to see dara o'brien, i know its under 20 pound each. far funnier than kay.

In my opinion, this is cold cos of the price, not jus the man.
#37
I've been trying since 8am and still had no luck either online or on the phone, and we were prepared to travel all the way from Aberdeen!! Shame Peter isn't prepared to travel!!!!!!

wouldn't take much to print a person's name on the tickets and require ID with that name on to get in

Regarding the price - surely its because its at the huge MEN arena, not a small theatre or club. Same as if he was playing in the Millenium Dome (or whatever its now called), then the tickets would be expensive to match that. I watched Eddie Izzard at the MEN the other week- he was brill, but I'll bet the tickets weren't £20.
