HIS massive Tour That Doesnt Tour Tour sold out within hours, so interest in Peter Kays long-awaited warm up shows has been massive.

But fans wanting tickets will have to be quick the Bolton comedian has announced that the warm-up shows will be at Burys tiny arts venue, the Met.

Three quarters of a million tickets have been sold for the main tour, making it the largest stand-up tour in history but the Met only holds 220 people in total.

The shows will take place on February 23 and 24 and March 6, 11 and 12.

Tickets cost £15, and proceeds will be donated to the Haiti Relief Fund.

Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow via seetickets.com. They will not be available through the Met box office.

We are delighted to be part of such a milestone, as happened seven years ago when Peter came here to warm up for his last tour.

The credit card used to make the booking must be presented on entry to the event in order to collect your tickets. Tickets cannot be resold. No card, no tickets! Tickets are to be collected on the night of the show.

I like Peter Kay but presenting the Brits didnt work at all, looked uncomfortably especially reading an autocue.
#13
great idea... good luck getting them from seetickets website though. their server is useless during high demand. get on there early.
#14
Love Peter Kay but I have heard his jokes already.
#15
Yeah found his Brits performace a little lacking I didn't bother attempting to get tickets for this latest tour, but saw him on the Mum Want's a Bungalow tour in my view when he was at his prime.

Found out about this, this morning on his Facebook status, I might try but want be going mad to get a ticket.
#16
Thanks OP, got 2 tickets for Sheffield Arena in November.
#17
Ladies and Gentelmen, please welcome on stage, Bolton's answer to Bill Hicks.

#19

+1, Who's to say the buyer cant collect then sell them, or just sell a single one of two on and go themselves? This is going to sell out within i predict 3 minutes so be quick. 1000 tickets at 15£ a pop, Gone off the guy big time but will be a good present for the folks.

Remember school holidays, going to Pontins with your Nan, skidding around on your knees at the Crocodile Club disco then copping off with a fat lass with NHS specs and a big pink patch over her eye? Remember sitting in front of the television, watching Rainbow, drinking your Panda Pops and eating Wagon Wheels the size of your Uncle Noddy's head? Then changing channel with the remote control that was on a wire and plugged in to the tele. It were plugged in. What were all that about?! Plugged in!!!

Well, my attempt at being Peter Kay was a little off the mark, so it's only fair I rate this hot. It's undeservedly expensive seeing a comedian "what were on the tele" these days so £15 is quite good I suppose.
#27
I've paid about £80 for two tickets, this is very hot!

Unlike your grasp of the English language, which is appalling. It's "your" not "you're" :whistling::roll:

I wonder where all the people live who've decided Peter Kay isn't really worth a £15 ticket?

Couldn't be sour grapes I suppose?

Looks to me as if he's doing something good promoting a tiny local venue, giving people a bargain
and giving the proceeds to the Haiti Relief Fund.
#31
Reminder set for for 9:55, didnt fancy the MEN gig arena too big for a comedian was just gona wait for dvd tbh

thanks alot for the heads up :)

Exactly......if people don't like him, fair enough....but to vote it cold is pathetic...... a good comedian doing a warm up gig and giving all the money to the Haiti Relef Fund. Anyone knocking that is warped........

you talk poppycock. it was a comma that i missed.
go to the bottom of the class.
#34
Couldn't get tickets for the Manchester leg of the tour so I'm hoping I'll be lucky this time!
#35
he'll need a lot of warming up from what I saw at the Brits.

Lets face it, he's not been funny or had any new material since Phoenix Nights in 2001

It is a hot deal though, even though he has used/re-used his material to death. He's a massive sell out with his constant re-hashed DVDs, books, garlic bread etc. So it's only right that he gives the profit to Haiti.
#36
That's like a week's wages in Bury!

I don't want to be a troll or anything but what do you mean? It looks like you just put "you're" instead of "your" by mistake, it's ok.

Peter Kay cuts costs by recycling the jokes he got from Dave Spikey 9 years ago.
Save your money by buying one of his DVDs and donating the rest directly to the Haiti Relief Fund - they'll probably get more from it that way.

oooh I'm from Bury. I'll try to get a ticket a couple of tickets. Thanks :)
