As far as I can see, this is the first time there has been mention of Sainsbury's petrol coming down. Are people voting cold because of the following deal? http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/258473/99-9p-per-litre-at-morrisons-and-as

Maybe OP should have put Sainbury's in the title though.

I have now, people just vote cold for sake of voting cold sometimes without reading the deal:thumbsup:

Ignore them. Some don't have the courage to comment on why they vote cold, if they did then it would be helpful. Some just love to vote deals cold anyway :)
#5
I think maybe its cold because all they are doing is price matching others a day later.

voted hot! all helps :)

Cannot verify it but I hear Morrisons are selling unleaded at 91p for today only.

Heat for addin roary as the pic :D

Voting cold because this isn't really a deal.

The price of petrol fluctuates based on the good old economic principles of supply and demand.

Wholesale prices have been falling, retail is following. Supermarkets are having a bit of a price war, but this isn't a hot deal in the same way as most of the items posted.

Wake up suckers, bickering over a few pennies on the price of a litre of petrol.
Do yourselves a favour, and your children and their children.
Search "free energy" on google. Wake up to your slavery.

How is this a Hot Deal?

Basically all they have done is bring there prices in line with Morrisons and ASDA. Plus it is fairly obvious that a day or two after these two reduce the prices the rest will follow as it has been happening now for about 4 months!

Are we going to get a thread for every petrol reatailer everytime the price comes down? Personally I find that massive board outside petrol stations very good for checking their prices (that and petrolprices.com)
#22
Cold because it's nothing special - Asda & Morrisons already sell theirs at this price. :)

Well we that do not have morrisons and asda petrol stations need to know, so who cares if it is in line with these others its a deal and I would like to thank the op for the information:thumbsup:

Morrisons in Weston-super-Mare was selling unleaded for 99.9p/litre this morning.

Filled up my Smarty for less than £25 for the first time in almost a year--nice!

How is the price of petrol a HOT UK DEAL!?

Everyone gets petrol when they need it, and are unlikely to run out and get some just because it's posted on here. If you need petrol and get a good day then good for you but it hardly classes a hot deal does it? I don't see how posting petrol prices that are ever changing results in a hot deal. If however in a climate where petrol prices were still super stupidly high, you found petrol 10 p per litre cheaper for one day only, then I'd see the point. But as it stands there is no deal here IMO.

This is true... but in my case if I need petrol I will get it, but i won't fill up until I see 99.9 :)... If you live in one of the big cities then 99.9 is probably everywhere!!.... living in Somerset it's not...... It will catch up but takes time to filter through. The more suppliers that reduce the quicker the national reduction will take hold.....HOT HOT HOT...

Displayed at 100.9 at Sainsburys today

Evidently it varies by location, I've just bought £30 worth of unleaded at Sainsburys @ 103.9/litre.
