Been waiting for these to reduce for a while - looks like a good laugh!

Have you ever wondered what your pet sees and does when you're out of the room? Is your pet an all-day napper? Or does he get into all sorts of mischief? Just clip this lightweight, compact digital camera to your pet's collar and explore their secret life! The camera has auto-interval settings of 1, 5 and 15 minutes and the internal memory stores up to 40 photos. A USB cable is provided for uploading photos which are PC and Mac compatible. Suitable for cats and dogs

That camera is about the same size as my cat's head. I could see what my pet sees if it's got a great big camera strapped to it. I suspect that, contrary to the packaging image, this only works on large dogs.

That is soooo cool....the only thing is my cat would go out and make sure he'd dispose of it somewhere, he's that sort of cat !

I must admit I am tempted (for the Vista laptop and the cats - not the goldfish) to see how far they wander (and who they fight, 'cos one of them keeps coming home with some pretty impressive scars).

The review (see link above) suggests that it does work and some cats will tolerate it (mine are used to wearing magnets to operate the catflap; those are gone now thanks to HUKD I got them chipped for £10 and a microchip catflap for £60. So they no longer stick to the fridge, parked cars, my uncle's pacemaker, etc.).

If you don't want to make up the £2.05 needed to get free postage it's £29.62 inc free postage here:

Definitely voting hot.

All you need is one of those dogs that rams everyone in the crotch, and you've got a cheap porn site. ;-)

ha ha :w00t:

Am seriously tempted by this because it's such a good price but I have a sneaking suspicion that all my dogs do when I'm at work is the same as they do when I'm at home - lie in wait for the postman, bark at the postman then go to sleep for the rest of the day.

Besides, I've made my one stupid pet purchase of the season by buying dog dna tests to see what breeds my rescue dogs are made of :-D I am tempted by one of those dog snuggie things on this other thread though just for comedy value:

Edit .. just noticed its not ... its stills only I thought it was video

That looks like something of a kittie version of battle royale! I'd actually pay to see someone try to get *that* thing on one of my cats! Muwhahaha

only holds a max of 40 photos ... dont think its worth it imo

Hmm.

Wondering if I could get the wife to wear it.

Maybe some alternative medicine stuff about improving bloodflow to the brain?

Wondered for years what she does when I'm out.....

Looks like a piece of tat... and still images are somewhat likely to be blurred, I think.

Yes, that's pretty useless. I'd be interested if it held a few hundred images. That way you could get quite an amusing array of images from a few hours

Or get one of these?

I still haven't tried it on my cat yet though. Trouble is, to be securely attached the spycam would need to be fixed to the collar sideways, so movies would be turned 90 degrees.

My Scent iments exactly !

for less money you could attach a wireless nightvision min spy cam and watch it live.

Also, my dogs would destroy one of those cams in no time, especially outdoors!!
#29
last thing you want is for tiddles to get stuck somewhere - make sure you use a snap-release collar... Pretty limited in functionality too. Cool for a dog tho.

This guy started the concept I think -

Mr. Lee

Some of the vids are cool - 2hrs spent staring at the birdhouse... 30 mins staring at the cute cat next door etc etc. :-D
