Pretty cold in here then? I can't find it cheaper elsewhere?
#2
Shame it's only available in black.

yeah, not one of the cold voters has commented on their motivation, which is against the spirit of this site.

Hi ChaseTerrace

Thanks for posting.

I saw this the other day and then checked out web and found it for around £10,500 at http://www.arbury.co.uk/ new in a choice of colours and spec at a dealer but the offer for that model has gone as of today.

The reviews were so-so too but clearly some discount off rrp.

It's French

which means cheap servicing unlike merc, bmw, audi, vw, ford, vauxhall

i have a peug 307 xsi and its cheap to servive
i and family have mercs and its crazy money even with non main dealers

friends have vauxhalls/fords/vw/bmw/mercs and they are expenive for servicing

prefer the 307 to the 308......been great but 8 years old now and bored so may go for a vw or audi

wtf PEUGEOT 308 DIESEL COUPE CABRIOLET 2.0 HDi GT 2dr £26K are you mad!!?

was thinking the same.......also golf's are not that great

i looked at getting a new 8 years ago.....bought 307xsi in the end as the golf was hopeless (they have improved a bit but are WAAAY overpriced)

307xsi had loads of features as STANDARD that the gold gti mk4 didnt
rain sensor wipers
auto fold mirrors with full manual control - better than bmw's 3 series pathetic option
auto lights
lights stay on 2mins after stopping
auto lock
anti glare glass
quicker
more airbags
more electronic assistance
nicer interior
half leather seats - front/rear
multi function computer
lots of drinks holders - lol
2 x12v sockets
climate control
5 disk cd player/cassette player
0% finance - not that i needed it
better quality materials
metallic paint
new acr had only been out a year, golf was due replacement following year
etc

AND it worked for me £8K cheaper - 307 xsi was just under £12500 (rrp £17600), vw wanted £19300ish (measly discount for £500)

its french +1.

which means it'll be a little cheaper to buy and and worth a lot less in 3 years. and poorly design, bad reliablity probably body is made of plastic and a fortune to fix.
my friend has a french megan and its cost him a fortune, you cant even change the bulb for the headlight without the garage. the panel for the bulb is behind the wheel arch.
stick with german or japanese cost you less in the long run, infact I'll have a ford over anything french.

Surely you can't compare Renault cars with Peugeot, just because they are from the same country!

i have and i will, will add citroen to the list too, my brother had a vtr and it was damp, rain came in from the boot. its all made of cheese and wine. the only thing french cars are better than are MG's i have one and they are just wrong (worst mistake ive ever made moving from german to a recycled sardine can)...the head is made of cheese too.
dont get me wrong i think french cars are pretty, style over substance. but u may be right peugeots are the best of the three

Aren't you referring to Curtis Davis? lol
