Are you mad! My 1st car cost less than this. I think I am starting to sound like my dad!
#2
How things have changed since our two boys needed a pram,,,For the better I might add,,,
#3
it is a lot of money but this is the cheapest i've seen this particular pushchair at. Phil and ted's is generally quite a pricey make
#4
the bentley of prams. well worth it. and after you've finished it still has good re-sale value.
#5
Agree with all of the above. Good price if you want something like this.
#6
Good deal, we are expecting our second and have no idea on the sex so we were put off by the colours. Ended up going for the red / charcoal sport with the doubles kit, coccoon and sleeping bag for £364 and then the 5% cashback on quidco all from mothercare. We managed to get the doubles rain cover for £15 at our local pram shop too.
#7
the best pram if you have 2, but im a bugaboo fan!! lol

voted hot hot hot for all the twinnies out there!!
#8
Iv just bought the pink one and it is the cheapest out there I have spent the whole day searching.

Here's hoping the scan was right or Ill have a little confused boy in 5 months!
#9
We own one of these,

amazing buggy,

Once you tried one of these you know why its expencive.

:)

Hot!!
#10
This is a great price. Worth every penny when you've got two little ones! There's no going back to any other buggy once you've used one of these! We paid £400 for ours including raincover and cocoon over a year ago, so this works out about £60 cheaper. Hot!
#11
Phil and Ted eh?

Excellent! *plays air guitar*
#12
These still have a great resale value as well. Unlike most pushchairs you would be able to sell close to the price paid for it even 2nd hand.
#13
Got this from mothercare when they had it on offer and honestly this pram is worth every p when compared to others IF you are expecting 2!
#14
hot price, we have this buggy and with a 2.5 yr old and an 8 month old its perfect for me..
i love it, the only problems iv ever had with it are 1: ) it doesnt fit on a train very well lol & 2: ) dont do much off roading as you will get a flat :)

but i still highly recommend it
#15
Highly recommended by me too!

My 2 are 18mths apart (6mths & 2yrs) & I love my Phil & Teds. Really couldnt live without it!
Easily converts from single to double & back again!
#16
Mothercare are doing red and black ones for 259.99 plus there's a 10% off code AF8, 5% Quidco, a working £5 off code somewhere on here and free delivery. Not worth buying second hand with those discounts AND it's Mothercare so you can buy with total security!
#17
mothercare , thats just for the buggy, the doubles seats an extra 65.99, the coccoon is another £43.99... this is for all of that
#18
Great deal. Good price
#19
can this be used for a newborn or baby under 6 months? as well as a toddler?

:?
#20
yes you can.. the coccoon is from new born to 6 months. then you sell that and use the doubles seat as soon as they can sit up ..
well thats what i did :)
my 8 month old goes underneath in the doubles seat and the 2.5 yr old in the top seat
banned#21
I'd be careful where you park this pram, turn your head and the wheels will be gone!

We were an early adopter of this pushchair (so much so it was a pain going out, as we'd get stopped every few minutes to be asked where we'd bought it & what it was called!)...we owned it for 3 years & in that time it got knocked about (as pushchairs do) ...in the end, we sold it for £30 less than we paid for it! Astonishing really :w00t:

A great pushchair though.
#23
We had a Jane Powertwin so that both kids could see out and like some of the other comments managed to sell for not much less than we paid (and kept getting stopped by people asking what is was, how much etc).

Well, some people buy flashy mobile phones, impressive laptops / notebooks even a graphics card alone costing way more than this.

Others may prefer to spend their money on a well made comfortable pushchair for their family that could last many more years.

totally agree with what you are saying.. even now we are always getting stopped and asked SFQ,S about it :w00t:
#26
Have to say this is a good price but I hated mine!!! It was too heavy and bulky. Sold it after 12 months for about £50 less than I bought it for
#27
i cant recomend this enough.
we have had ours 2-3 years now my eldest is just 3 and only goes in it when he is really tired but it is just as good as a single now. never had a puncture and trust me it has had some mileage!
#28

True but then Camo Pink/Blue may not be to everyones taste. I think that's the whole idea, to get people to the website by heavily discounting something that's quite lairy then when the more conservative shopper sees the black/ red ones at a decent price they go for those.

The Mothercare discount is good for the black/red buggy but you could maybe get your accessories elsewhere for cheaper. Peppermint.co.uk have some of the cheapest prices for P&T accessories (sleeping bag, panniers NOT raincover though) free delivery over 100 quid and 10% at the checkout for P&T until Monday 19th. Peppermint actually have a store in Kingston Upon Thames which is where we bought our P&T.

Another supplier worth looking at is Olivers as they have stores too and some cheap prices on the web with a 5% code "puddleducks mummy" and a discount for buying multiples.

As you can tell I've done a bit a research into this lately and I just wanted to add a word of warning about twoleftfeet who have some cheap prices but awful reviews from many customers on Kelkoo. Be warned!

have to agree with the above i guess :) these colours arent to everyones taste and are often discounted along with the lime green one ! i paid extra as i wanted the red one but managed to get it online at boots 8 months ago with a bit of money off it plus lots of advantage points..
still a fab deal tho if you like those colours :)

Also see this thread re twoleftfeet service:

Looks like they've been on Watchdog previously. If it seems too good to be true then it usually is.... unless you've seen it on here and the heat is through the roof!
#39
The website selling it is Kiddiecare not two left feet.
#40
Did I say it was?

Read post 37 detailing the various options and discounts for anyone wishing to buy a P&T at the mo.
