Mothercare have an offer on at the moment to buy the Phil & Teds Sport in red & the double kit in red & get a £70 discount - this is more than the cost of the double kit itself (£65.99).

If you add a double raincover too (because you will more than likely need one unless you live in a bubble!) & use the 10% off code (attached) it deducts the 10% before the £70 offer giving you an additional £41.80 off!
Use the free delivery code attached too. (think delivery is free over £150 anyway).

The discounts don't show until after you've entered payment details but they do show before you confirm your order - including the £70 offer.
Make sure you enter the promotional codes on the same page you enter your card details.

There is also 5% Quidco so it is possible to get this for around £290 delivered!
The single pushchair alone is £329.99!

I used this offer last week. Had to buy two sleeping bags as well, which pushed final cost to £366 (after quidco) - originally £505). I've been keeping an eye out for an offer on Phil and Ted's buggies (very rare) and this is the best I have seen in about a year of looking (particularly as everyone else wants to charge at least £25 to deliver to N Ireland). Good post.

bargain.. mine cost over £380 with the double seat and cover.. ( and that had money off!)
best buggy iv ever had voted hot :)

over £300 for a pushchair?! blimey it's all changed since my day.

When did a "pushchair" become a "buggy"?
About the same time they went from about £30 to over £300 perhaps?

Bargin, ordered one, + added the Phil & Teds Sport Cocoon, missus v.happy as number two is due in march....

As stated above, I forked out £366 with two sleeping bags included. Although I'm hardly an old man, my first car was £600. Prices for kids stuff is shocking (my forth child on the way in March)!

I have one of these last year but really didn't get on with it. It was very bulky and heavy, I also had to send it back a few times due to problems with the wheels. It was a great idea in principle as I didn't want a traditional double buggy.
The good thing is that they hold their value 2nd hand and I just sold mine for £280. This is a great price for anyone who wants one, just try it out first.

Good spot angelaing :)

We are expecting our 2nd in 6 months or so and will have 2 under 2 so I have gone for this as we have made do with a very cheap and chearful buggy for our 10 month old son.

My plan is to test this in the comfort of our own house with our current little un and see how we find it - if we (wife and son esp) don't like it will take it back to local mothercare.

Im wishing I ordered a sleeping bag too now for my 4mth old....

Does anyone know if a universal cosytoes would fit it?

Just had a quick look on the net inc ebay and you can get this deal for about £350 all in and the pram on it's own for £300 new. Second hand they seem to be about £220 mark from what I can see so maybe not as hot as I first thought - will see when it arrives.

My hubby really wanted one of these and I priced it up from proper shops and you don't get a guarantee from ebay - not one that I'd trust with expensive buys anyway I like proper retailers for big stuff just in case of problems with items. I looked every which way this voucher and that offer and couldn't ever find it for less than about £480 for everything so defo seems a good deal to me. Just a shame now I've only 9 weeks left till bubs arrives and I already have my double pushchair.

i ordered this pushchair on tuesday morning after my husband found this offer on sunday. i was going to buy 1 of these pushchairs at the end of 2006 ready for the arrival of my 2nd child in feb 2007, my 1st child was only 18 mnoths old and didn't fancy a big double, but the cost when you add the accessories put me off. This is a fantastic deal, especially for Mothercare, and i couldn't find a better deal anywhere on the net or in my local baby stores. My 3rd baby is due at the beginning of next year so it came along just in time. It arrived yesterday and so far i am very pleased. This is my 10th, yes 10th pushchair (including singles and doubles!) since the arrival of my 1st child in July 2005 and so far it ticks alot of the boxes that i look for in a pushchair, but in a few months if im not happy i know i will get a very good return, and may even make a profit on ebay!
Thanks to the person who posted this great deal. :)

No problem geoff96 - I hope the pushchair works for you!
Mine arrived a few days ago.
DP didnt like the look of it in the pictures but we both absolutely love this!
We have been struggling using a single or a double with a 22mth old who wants to walk 75% of the time!
This is the best thing we have bought! Wish Id had it since day one!

Is this offer still available? as I got as far as the confirm and submit order page and it only had the free postage available and no other offer.

Needless to say I chickened out and didn't press the submit my order button.
