This sells for £364.99 at mothercare and John Lewis. Boots sell it for £289.99 and there is the folloiwng discount code CGVB22 found by 'andywedge' which is in the vouchers section for 10% off bringing it down to £260.99. Boots are currently doing 10 points per £ when you spend more than £20 on selected baby products so you get 2600 advantage card points worth £26. Topcashback do 2.5 % cashback for existing customers and 6% for new customers. This brought it down to a net cost of £228.47 for me. The doubles kit and cocoon etc are quite a bit more expensive from Boots so I will get those from Kiddicare or Mothercare with 10% off!

can only agree with all the good things said, ahd it for 3 years and were still using it, quite easy to get all the fabric parts off for cleaning ( we did them in the washing machine) great pram

This is a great buggy. Even if you only got 1 child its worth getting incase you need the doubles kit later on. We would have saved alot of money by buying this with our fast born.

I will echo this comment above. Buy this first time around, instead of like me buying something that isnt up to the job (this Sport buggy will last well as its built like a tank - I even took it across to Skomer in Pembrokeshire!)

I tried to save money on my first buggy purchase (thinking that buggies like these were stupidly expensive), which worked fine for the first few months and then started falling apart. It turned out to be a false economy and nearly put the OH back out when the little one became a heavier toddler.

This also provides an easy and cost effective solution should you start thinking about number 2. I also like the fact you can easily remove the wheels (should you need to clean mud off them!)

These were always expensive but new and second hand prices seem to have dropped recently.

100% recommended purchase for all new mums (Emma the moderator are you listening?!)

The only downside to this buggy is to fold it up you end up resting the foam covered handlebar on the ground, which gets small tears in it.

If you own one of these Id also recommend a pack of these hooks should you wish to carry bags on the handle bar.

thanks jazid. Been looking for those hooks for a while

Excellent price - we have this and I love it!

can you fit a car seat in one of these?
Got me eye on a maxi-cosi mura 3 but this looks pretty cool...how is it for newborns?

Yes you can add the maxi-cosi CabrioFix - but you need to buy an adapter of sorts which costs around £20,

We usde this for our second new born. We had the baby cocoon. (well I think that is what it is called.)

Thanks scoobie

Yep, i have the adapter and a maxi cosi car seat attaches on, it works really well just not supposed to use as a double pram when car seat is attached. Its been a great pram for us with a baby and 2 year old. Just about to sell ours now so hoping they dont go too cheap new and affect the price!!

We've had one of these for a little over a year now. Aside from needing the lining replaced as the zip tags all broke off in short order, its been pretty good. I'm 6ft 4 and have no trouble pushing it, which is a bonus. It does take up a fair amount of boot space though- its long so I can only get it in my Seat Ibiza's boot with the parcel shelf up. The parcel compartment is a pain to access if the pushchairs in "lie flat" mode but thats common to a lot of this sort of thing.

this has to be one of the most difficult things to put up and down, you either rest the foam handle on the gound or the front, either way the thing gets damaged.

poor overall design in my opinion, when the child is lay down sleeping, the only cover for the rear is clear so all the light shines down on them, ended up having a new section made by the mother in law in black blackout fabric but we still wander around with a coat over the front to keep the light out.

admittedly its a neat option if you have two kids but for just one, pay more money for the VIBE or buy something else
#17
still a good price for it so cant vote cold, but as far as the product goes, thats another story!!
#18
Excellent price, and offer has come along at just the right time for me. Thanks!
#19
Great price. By the way, if you're looking for accesories for it, the doubles kit and cocoon are reduced in price at Toys R Us. I know as I bought the pram and all the accessories there last weekend. The doubles kit is £49.99 (compared to £70 at boots). The cocoon is £35 (compared to £50 at boots). Available online and in store.
#20
Doubles kit and cocoon also priced as above, but with free delivery from John Lewis...

Thanks OP. Bought one of these this afternoon.
#21
i can only see it in red, any ideas??

edit - found it! phew!!
#22
i've just bought this. i'm so excited, i've been wanting it for ages!!!
#23
voting cold because in the description it compares with shops that sell in expensivelly:
"This sells for £364.99 at mothercare and John Lewis. Boots sell it for £289.99 ..."

it is priced for ages at about 310 at kiddicare, so the saving is much less than you are led to believe
#24
this is a great price for a great product. I replaced another twin buggy with this and love it. It folds easy, great for 2 kids. Only complant I have is you cant access basket easy when double kit has a child in it. After looking at this and the vibe this certainly was the better product.

£310 - £260 = £50 or 19%. So what is your point? 19% is a very good reduction!

my point is that the first sentence led you to believe that the going price for this is over 360, and not 310!!! Author mentions kiddicare so he knows about it ... the post is supposed to help us, and not trying to mislead us

Anyone who is looking for this type of pram knows what they cost and this is by far and away the best price. People should be voting for a hot deal not someone write up. This is a hot deal. Most people buy their prams, child seats etc from Mothercare so it is hardly out of the orginary for the poster to compre with them.

It would be misleading if you could get it from somewhere else at less than £260. I've never seen the sport buggy anywhere else for less than £300.

the poster purposedly make the deal sound better than it really it, i rest my case

ps:
actually, it's the same price at kiddicare 289.99 ( 314 with raincover)

Get a life. Anyone interested in buying this isn't interested in what the second best price is. As people have said already, if you are looking for one of these this is a great deal, if you're not interested, jog on:roll:

i'd bet large sum of money that most people here buy JUST because it's a big saving over what is the price "otherwise"

Thank you for defending my post! I had been looking at the Phil & Teds in store at John Lewis and Mothercare which is where I had got the price idea from (and as most people look at pushchairs before they buy them I guess that is not an unreasonable comparison) and yes that must be the full RRP. I have just been looking at the doubles kit and accessories on the John Lewis website thanks to a previous poster and have actually noticed that it is £294 online so either it is more expensive in store or my memory seves me incorrectly so I apologise, but it is that price in Mothercare!

Anyway yes it is the same price on Kiddicare but you can't get 10% off and 10% of the value in Boots points. I had spent a long time looking online and thought this might help someone else - I am not out to mislead anyone...

ps kiddicare sell a 'pack 92' which I was just about to buy for £369.97 which includes the doubles kit and raincover. But I worked out it would be cheaper to buy the main pushchair from Boots and the bits separately.
#32
and I wasn' purposefully trying to make it sound like a better deal than it is - can I reiterate that the NET COST to me was £228.47 which is 37% cheaper than Mothercare and not much more than good condition used ones seem to go for on eBay!
#33
thanks op heat added. just ordered one . great price.
