Voted cold, linked to the general sales page which is fine(I suppose), but if you have indeed bought a Blu-Ray player at that price, any receipts?? There is no mention of it in the listings.

Would have been better just listing things on the website only and those that are in stock as slowly but surely they are becoming OOS.
#2
Yep, cheapest blu ray i can find online is £97

maybe it's instore

Maybe best to say which store

Yeah true, or just listing the sale with other things instore only and post pics of the item for sale, or receipt??

good price for a bluray player. wasn't aware that people needed to show receipts on this site?

+1 Has to be a presumption of honesty on this site, and as far as I'm concerned, asking for a receipt is tantamount to accusing the OP of being (at best) mistaken.

Good price, thanks for posting.

They don't however people are sceptical of some deals and like to get confirmation. Can anyone confirm the instore price?

Thankyou, I am sceptical as the C has linked to the online version of the sale, no mention of the blu ray player on it and yes I KNOW he says instore, a photo of the item in store with a price tag or a receipt isn't too much to ask, others have done so in the past with instore deals so I don't see what the problem is, and as I would have to travel a fair bit to my nearest asda, listing which store and proof of it reassures potential buyers such as myself, thats all.

Especially when there is no mention of a model number etc

The OP didn't even claim to have bought the Blu-ray player so maybe that's why there is no model number.
Even with a receipt it's still hit and miss whether your local would have one anyway.
It's good to include the store name for instore deals though.

yeah i agree - without proof, this is just a goose chase! voted cold. at least a picture of the item if you were in store which would have been the case or else you wouldn't know about this... everyone's got cameras on their phones nowadays

Just been to my local Asda Supermarket in Dundonald and Asda Living store in Belfast, asked about the player, even referencing the model number finally listed above, by sanoob, no joy, or any stock available to order in from other stores, the living store went as far as to check the area supply warehouses, none in NI, then went on to say that they believed it to be an online only deal, which is even more confusing now, as tayba20 stated there are some in store at ASDA Fulwood, Preston. Oh well

Not a red herring or a lie, just bought one in asda canary wharf!.. A bdp2700/05 for £57. lovely!.. can't see others on shelf so I would call ahead if you were thinking of coming here..
#21
None in my local :(
#22
Anyone know any more about the iPod stereo system offer? I am instore now and can't see any reduced, but neither was the blu ray player on the shelf so it could be there are cheaper than the shelf price. Only I'd really like one if it was a bargain...

this is definitely a genuine deal-my local just got them in and can get another ten percent off so will get this for the bedroom. stores that dont have them today should have stock within 48 hours-there is a sqf allocation for all stores with an electrical area.

Anybody found any at ASDA stores in the North East?
#38
Plenty of the Philips Bluray player in Maidstone Asda living. Lots of the other deals as well and more arriving by the pallet load as I browsed.
#39
....just curious, where have all the skeptical people gone. seems everyone was to quick to jump the band wagon here....then it turns out that there is a deal here to be had and 'poof' all the skeptics are gone. hapened when I posted a deal on hear. I dont bother putting deals up anymore as people seem more interested about the ballitics of what is and isnt a deal.

good find op
