The Philips Multimedia Speaker System has a unique design & produces a much deeper, richer bass than you would expect from such a compact system. They can connect to MP3s, PC's, TV's, DVD's and more!

Features:
2 Satellite speakers - total 10 watts RMS
Stereo sound picture
Easy to connect to a PC or laptop
Includes headphone jack for personal use

Seems a good price for adding speakers to a laptop, PC or flatscreen tv (If it sounds a bit 'tinny'). Collect in store or buy online. Handy if you don't have room for a subwoofer that is part of a 2.1 system.

Site states they are reduced from £24.99. Philips do tend to make reliable and good sounding products. Would expect good quality from this!

If you happen to make an order from ebuyer, these are better value -

I have a pair sitting in front of me, great for the price.

Or if you DO have space for a sub, I have these on my daughters PC, the bass is very imressive -

Fair suggestions there. There's a 2.1 PC Line system in PC World that I bought for my classroom interactive whiteboard. They're only a tenner at PC World.
Depends how you want them to look too I guess, The Philips ones to look simplistic and smart. Anyway, thanks for adding some suggestions!

No worries, I still voted hot btw, it's a good price for quality branded speakers.

Yes agree, these are ok for this price..hot..... Tesco are selling a decent pair of smaller wattage ones at about £12 also.. so this is a good deal..
