Think of it as a USB hub with a free monitor

Isn't it just fantastic that everyone is looking and finding all these monitor deals! - I'm just kicking myself that I missed the http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/336705/iiyama-24-prolite-e2407hds-black-16/ deal
Keep up the good work team - I'll be happy when you find the Sony 50" for less than 500 notes

Eighty quid for a USB hub? Where do you think you are? PC World?
#15
It's worth noting that this monitor can swivvel.

So it's an ideal 2nd (or 3rd) monitor!
#16
Two of these on a dual head GFX card and you've got a very big and cheap desktop.
#17
Can you watch tv on this monitor? Thanks
#18
forgive my ignorance but why's it so expensive to begin with?

I think this feature is usually called PIVOT - ie can operate in either horizontal/landscape or vertical/portrait mode - to avoid confusion with a base that allows for some rotation/swivel to face the user - and of course TILT. The best monitors have firmware in them that tells the computer video when it is physically pivoted so that the video driver can automatically switch the display mode - no idea if this does.

Really nice feature for those ex-accountants among us who like document & spreadsheet displays :) Remember buying Radius Pivot displays (with that core feature) twenty years ago for secretarial use at megabucks!

Probably because it was SOME long time ago and HIGH spec historically - eg the Pivot feature.

If you have a TV tuner card by a brand like Hauppauge then yes. :)

DVI, USB hub, Pivot, branded, this is a high end model from not that long ago, probably retailed for more initially. The club I used to work in had Relisys 15" LCD monitors in 2001, they cost much, much more, and they were bog-standard VGA jobs.

I got this too. Anyone actually get it?

This was very obviously a mistake and was pulled by Play when orders started to come in.

I've got the 200wp7es version (bought for £286 in March 2007) and it's excellent. I have a dual monitor graphics card and would have swiftly bought another for £79.99.

Mine is on the way
