From their website:
When it comes to performance and style, there's little to beat the Philips 37PFL5322.

Key to the 37PFL5322's high performance is the inclusion of Philips' Pixel Plus HD. Pixel Plus HD increases the number of lines and pixels, with resulting increases in detail from HD sources. Added to this is a 3D comb filter which enhances the clarity of all signals, whether they are HD or standard definition.

Although not as good as a separate home cinema system, Philips have also managed to produce decent sound quality from the 37PFL5322. Dynamic bass enhancement gives the sound added body, whilst "Incredible Surround" gives a more enveloping feel. If this isn't enough there's even a 7-band graphic equalizer that you can adjust to get that perfect balance.

In terms of connections, the 37PF5322 provides everything expected of a modern flat screen TV. Twin HDMI sockets cater for 2 High Definition sources, whilst twin SCART sockets and a component input ensure that all analogue inputs are well taken care of.

Using styling cues from their more expensive models, Philips have designed the 37PFL5322 to a high standard. The black and silver facia fronts a sleek design, and the glass pedestal stand offers a touch of class absent in many competitors.

Anyone know if this is a good TV as I can't find any reviews on it?
Cant spot any reviews either.

The Philips info on it is at

(assuming it is the /10 variant - the /nn usually indicates that tailored for a particular country/territory)
Checked this out yesterday, nearly no stock in the whole company and the ones that do are ex display and just a single unit in store. It also has no freeview tuner.
This "offer" has been on for ages and, as mentioned above, there's no stock.
even without a freeview tuner cant complain at the price
and if your going to fork out for a brand new plasma/lcd tv you shoud have sky tv anyway
i paid a grand for my 42 inch 600 quid for 5 more inches
do currys do this tv?
maybe try the price match policy?
no stock here too.
even without a freeview tuner cant complain at the price

Can you explain why it is necessary to have sky tv if you have a plasma. I've always found sky to be vastly overpriced.
well i work my girlfriend works
and whats better then getting home and watching a film or having a go on the playstation
i figure if your going to do something you might aswell go the whole hog
so if your going to buy a massive tv your going to want to be able to watch the footy with ya mates on it and everything aswell
if not you might aswell buy a small cheap tv and you can pick up a freeview box for a tenner
thats just my way of thinking and your right 45 quid a month is a bit much but then again its worth it
i couldnt live without my sky + box
Why are people still voting this deal hot when it doesn't exist ??
Don't buy Philips TV's is my advice. Work with them at work and they are always breaking down. I had to fix two pallets worth from Richer Sounds only this week.
Does anyone else really dislike Richer Sounds?

People knock DSG with good reason, but this company makes out like its oh sooo genuine yet pedals a catalogue that's full of stuff that doesn't exist - I guess to get people in store to be traded up.

Pity, because Richer Sounds is a great idea in theory.
