It is HD, it's just the way Plasma screens are specified.

You do wonder why some people bother without finding out the facts first, don't you? Pretty much every 720p plasma on the market is 1024x768.

This is one of the best bang-for-buck HD plasmas out there at the moment, alhough I'm not sure £599.99 is really a great "deal" - I got mine for £585 from Empire Direct back in December using a code.
