I think you have made a mistake in your write up. The title says Plasma but your write up says LCD. On looking at PC World website I think it's a Plasma.

Still can't beat the £450 (after quidco) 42" LCD Toshiba found on Boxing Day mispriced at Curry's. Shame it's expired.

This is a really, really old set.

I've had this set for over a year...paid £699- Take it from someone who knows, picture from sd source is good, plug x-box 360 components in and the games look incredible.
Mate across road has a 1080p 40 inch samsung Lcd paid a grand for it, looks quite bad from sd source and cant tell difference in game picture from 360.

Buy at this price its a bargain!

Spend £100 more on the Panasonic TH42PX70 and you won't be disappointed. LCD's still can't match plasmas for picture quality at 40" and above the the Panny is an absolute steel.

Please can you tell me where can you get the Panny for £610 which is the price of this TV after quidco & 5% code?

I have this tv, I run it with cable and it is quite simply the worst picture I have ever seen. A football pitch looks like a light green patch with bits of dark green patches on it, all in square pixel shapes.

It cannot reproduce skin colour and on "the dragons den" the lest hand side of all the dragons faces is purple.

As for the xbox 360. I have not bothered running it in HD, the lead does not fit.

Do not buy this old piece of rubbish.

Good idea, but I am renting it ( £35 per month) and am in a 12 month contract.

I told that I would pay more for a better one and they told me that they just had these

I spent quite a lot of time trawling the internet to try and find some better settings for and not many people had much good to say about this tv.

Blimey! £35 a month for a £550 TV. You got done!
