Before you read on I have bought one of these. They come with a 7 day return policy & a 12 month guarantee. The one I have looks & plays like new. It was newly packaged, had no marks & no dead pixels. It is a big TV & may well have been simply returned for this reason. By applying ABANDONDISCOUNT you apparently get free delivery (I didn't know this at the time). The customer service isn't the quickest but the TV is great.

They usually find you.

The best way to check is to have a solid dark or light background showing on the screen. A black or blue screen would show up a dead pixel as a white dot and a white background would show up a dead pixel as a black dot. Dead pixels can occur anywhere on the screen.

I bought a 32" TV from here about 3 months ago, I can highly recommend.
The TV looks brand new with no dead pixels scratches or marks.
