I don't get it... For starters the link is just for an image, secondly surely that's not doubting the fact that this is £100 less and a good deal? :p

fixed link peeps ! sorry !

£417 for a slightly lower end plasma on 21 months interest free might not be everyones cuppa t but for anyone on limited funds like me its a steal & the difference between 32" LCD & 42" PLASMA. 10" makes a hell of a difference :-D, ask yer wife !!! LOL

Is there not a reasonable chance that Littlewoods will retrospectively refuse the vouchers?
#13
Infact, it now seems that if I click for the item, it is at £629 anyway? :(

its showing at £499 at the moment
#16

Stuff Littlewoods at any price since the last fiasco ..:whistling:
#19
I have had some cracking bargains from LD over the years, never had an issue with them.
#20
I also have this TV, bought at the beginning of November last year for £585 from Empire Direct... it's an absolutely superb TV and for this price a complete bargain. There were rumours that it was subject to image-nerfing by Dixons staff, because it looked too good against the "bigger" brands with the higher prices (although Philips aren't exactly small fry).

Resolution 1024 x 768 ?

Just noticed there is a Philips 42" LCD for £549 would this be a better deal?
http://www.littlewoodsdirect.com/rf/lxd/navigation/product.do?categoryId=7764063&productPos=28&catno=PY15532&groupId=407423598&pageSize=12&priceOrder=desc
Is there anyone technical minded that could tell me which is better the Plasma or the LCD?
#28
21 months interest free sounds good! 11 months at £40 pays it off.
#29
I thought I would go through the ordering process to the last page to see how the 21 month interest free works. Not sure what I did but I ended up ordering the TV so I don't know if I have got this on interest free or not? I chose the option to set up an account. Didn't take any card details or anything. I guess I will need to call them up tomorrow and see what I have done.....

Good price but the TV aint up to much, IMO one of the worst pictures ive seen on a plasma. pay the extra and get a panny, well worth the extra

Utter tosh, this TV will walk all over a Panasonic Plasma for picture and sound quality, I have tested them both side by side.

I just wouldn't buy one from Littlewoods.

Complete drivel!
#36
oooohhh.would love to go for this on the interest free!
Been through the checkout and there is no sign of the 21 months interest free. How exactly does it work?
#37
I just phoned to check my order and undertsnad how the interest free option works. She said that I don't begin payents until May 2009, and will then have an interest free period but she couldn't specifically say how long that would be for or how much a month. She did say that the monthly statement would say exactly how much I needed to pay for the interest free option. I chose the option for an account when ordering.
#38
A brief, positive review of this set here:
#39
Placed the order, straight through to the confirmation screen, but didn't take note of the order number.
I've had no confirmation email, only the Littlewoods account one.Logged into my account and there are no orders in the order history. Is this normal?
Don't really want to call them,i know that they can be a bit funny asking where you got the vouchers from etc..

Absolute rubbish. I do not think this poster knows what he's talking about.

I have a 42inch Panasonic PX80 in my livingroom and a 50inch version of this Philips in my Movie room and the quality of the Philips is much better than the Panasonic.

This is a complete bargain for the price!
