amazon is selling £10 less for £528 inclusive delivery:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-42PFP5532D-Widescreen-Plasma-Freeview/dp/B000R3PHO4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1211382766&sr=8-1
I prefer amazon to pixmania for better customer service. There are also customer reviews (all positive) on amazon.
Viwing angle seems low though. Look at the weight = 41kg! I don't think it is wall mountable. Power consumption is that of a small electric heater heater = 380W, so your room will be pretty warm during summer months! I am no expert on large tv's but this sounds a good deal to me, so heat added.

I'd rather go for this TV from John lewis to get the 5 year warranty for £100 extra. better still, get the panny for £649 from JL.

My brother has this philips TV and the picture is first class.

These comments make you wonder how many people must buy things from amazon market place sellers not having a clue that they are not purchasing direct from amazon. I have always thought amazon could do a lot more to make things clearer on their site.

It only takes a min or two just to see what the best deal here is.
If you look to the right when you have loaded the Amazon page Amazon are selling this for £659.00 and you get free shipping

Nice TV but avoid Pixmania if you can, the TV will probably be shipped from France and if you hit ANY problems with delivery or the actual product itself be prepared for lot's of gnashing of teeth over the phone (if you get through). Just do your research on their customer service (or lack of) feedback via google.

Edit: certainly don't be looking for a refund if the TV develops a fault or is D.O.A. or you simply don't fancy it as they will take it away (which can take 10 days to France) and test it which might take another 30 days so bear that in mind folks. Remember being based in France they are not liable to any UK laws.

The other option is to buy through Dixons using the codes which are about.
This will add a couple of quid to the total

O.K. assumed it was amazon. I'd never buy anything electrical from a third party seller at amazon. Clearly my fault. Gave heat to your deal anyway.
