Brilliant price. It's £75 for a refurb unit on eBay.
Okay it isn't going to blow anyone away, but perfect for an entry level setup or in a smaller room.

pointless purely because you cant hook up your credit card stealing machine to it in 5.1? is a decent unit with a good dvd and usb playback for the price ! Hot form me!

What kind of system would you need to just play anything that would normally come through the tv speakers?
#8
? doesn't seem to have a lot of features, no HDMI, no upscaling, no DTS ?
#9
ofc it dosent have a lot of features look at the price of it! Regardless, hot for me as for a nice simple system to upgrade to a base level 5.1 for £49.99 its a bargin!

They don't understand the difference between a budget system and a £500 system, everything must be the same to them.

ok for price wouldnt pay any more than this though for a budget system with budget performance ‚ you get what you pay for with this which is low end performance and sound quality‚

I think it's more than the price of audio equipment doesn't seem to crash down in price the same way that LCD screens do, for example I bought my last tv 3 years ago Technosonic 32" for £399 and I recently bought a Samsung 40" for £345.

With my audio I bought my receiver 5 years ago for £150, it has optical, dts but no hdmi. So I thought seeing as five years had gone by I would be able to get a system with hdmi, 7.1 channels and dts hd etc. But nope, those system are still a fortune. The systems that you can get for £150 now don't seem any more advanced than the one I bought five years ago for the same price.

it has AUX in so you should be able to connect the audio out of your TV to the AUX in of this amp. Sure it won't be 5.1 but at least it has inputs. So yes you should be able to get anything that you can get coming out of your TV coming out of this at least in stereo (assuming your TV has audio out)

pretty pointless really

only scart and RGB connections - not even component / progressive scan
