Just to clarify about the £9999 biz. Apparently this ridiculous price, which was also advertised for the Pioneer PDP507XD (true value £2339 on web) and I suspect a few more, on currys database instore, is to alert the curry sales rep that the item is not allowed to be sold/ordered on its own. Apparently it should come with something i.e table top stand/accessories etc and within the price. I was informed this on my second visit to currys last week after the sales rep spoke to his manager as to why the price was coming up so high. I don't think that it is widely known within the staff though as on my 1st visit another sales rep just thought it was a printing mistake and on the 2nd the other had to ask his boss and I suspect it was the same with col.

I bought this just after Christmas... at £1499, (said it was £1699 in store at the time, went and had a look and it is actualy £1699 in store at the moment). Of course I got 3% QuidCo cash off but to hasty to get the extra 5% off.

A very nice (LARGE) TV it has to be said... brilliant in HD.
