Picked up one of these in Asda Walsgrave, Coventry store last night. They had another 3 or 4 left.

They're showing as reduced to £27 (already a good price having searched on-line elsewhere - e.g. £44.03 @ Amazon), but reduced further to £14.

Unfortunately this appears to be store specific :-(

Delighted with mine :)

did you take it to the till? sometimes the shelf price is different.
#4
Mine had one of the Asda 'WOW!' stickers on it.
#5
That's an amazing price for DAB. I'll have a look tomorrow.

I bought a nice DAB radio in ASDA last year, I use it at work. What would make it better would be if it had more than one speaker so that it actually played in stereo instead of which with some songs which have a stereo effect you only get a single channel and half the music is missing.

Sometimes you get the Mammas and other times you only get the Pappas........ :x

good deal mate:) I am going to Walsgrave to buy some..
#8
Good luck Sliwka. Would love to hear someone else managed to get one so let us know how you get on.
#9
Good find.

I just tried Asda in Glenrothes and they are charging £27 but I bought it anyway as it's still a great price. Nice find! :)
#11
congrats and no disrespect to the op ...but this could be another non deal by the looks of it.....people just hitting the hot button on the strength of seeing a low price without actually reading the thread - kind of defeats the object of the site if you ask me
#12
Good deal but is it nationwide?

Give me 1/4 hour to get some charge into my camera and I'll stick a copy of the receipt on here (if someone can tell me how to - do I need to stick it on Photobucket or something similar?)

Ignore the chocolates I've already had them!

can't even give DAB players away !! this is the cheapest i've seen them. when they reach £9.99 i'd buy one for the LULZ.
#17
just been to asda aintree. they have loads in stock but are priced and scan in at 27 quid. doh.
#18
Thats a Hot Deal so Voted Hot!!!

Will check my local store later.
#19
Looked in two ASDA's and couldn't see this radio.
#20
still 27 quid at aintree and yes i did get it scanned. perhaps this should be expired or made store specific
#21
Still 27 in Asda Smithdown road too , I didnt go there for the purpose of this deal but I always look when im in there because I will NEVER pay over £20 for a DAB radio when its all available on the freeview box or on the PC , half of them look pathetic with one speaker etc and cost anything up to £80 .
#22
Just been to Asda Wolstanton (Stoke on Trent) and didn't see any in there.
#23
any dab plus available under a fiver yet? no? ok then cheers anyway, god bless you all
#24
Just bought this radio from Asda in Hulme, Manchester for £27. Needed a DAB radio to get my mum for mothers day and this was the best value one I could find.

I don't suppose there is any policy whereby Asda would give back the difference if it does get marked down in price within the next few days?

401c hot and yet no one has brought this for £14? except the op?

I'm disappointed in that too but I don't know how I can post any more proof than I have of the deal :-(
#27
the "red white red" coloured stickers are pretty classic Asda "store specific" reductions, OP's photo is showing price printed on, but in most cases the prices are even hand written on, that's how store specific it can get.

OP is lucky his store has this reduction, but thanks for bringing it up anyway, maybe should add store specific to title.
#28
added.

Good grief, I don't know why I bothered posting. Now I'm getting cold votes.

If I'd realised it was store specific before I posted I wouldn't have wasted mine (and apparently a number of other peoples) time!

Was near to Asda Walsgrave so went in and had a look. None of these in stock, but they had plenty (10+) of AJB4500 for £20.00. I don't think this is store-specific, as it was on the shelf edge label (and not a red and white reduction label). Picked one up for Mother's day (along with a horrific card). Hope this helps someone out!
