Start the day with your favourite radio station or gently increasing buzzer alarm. With two alarm times, you can set one to wake you and the other for your partner. Includes a snooze function and you can fall asleep listening to music, using the sleep timer function. In sleep timer mode the radio cleverly switches off after a time limit of up to an hour, allowing you plenty of time to drift off. Perfect for the elderly or the visually restricted, with a large clear display you can read the time easily.
Worth looking to see if it is available locally.

Shame, if it was dab it would be worth getting.
Reading the reviews the description is wrong.

If you ever find a DAB radio for £7.99 then please let me know!

Careful - there's zero chance this is a DAB radio. In the questions & answers section there is debate about it and the consensus seems to be it IS NOT DAB. Trying to be helpful :)

Deffo not dab, we have a couple of these, one has a red display and one has green.

As others have said, shame it's not dab. would have been all over this had it been dab. it's still a decent price nonetheless

Considering that there is no way this radio is DAB, I think this set is ancient technology which is not worth more than a fiver at best. Actually you might grab it in a car boot sale for a quid. There is no deal here...it is Freezing cold.

That's a bit harsh, many DAB stations have poorer quality sound than FM due to the low bitrate of the transmission. This radio has presets, digital tuning and a soft start alarm/radio feature. A fiver would probably get you a Tesco branded analogue tuning device with a piddly display. Also same price on Amazon.

There is another advantage of Dab. It gets time by itself. I have few digital radio clocks and they get correct time by themselves. No need to update daylight saving or any other time. Just correct time by itself.

Why do people think dab is great when they only transmit in mono on most stations

Yeah but I like the radio announcer to tell me the time but he/she is always out on a DAB due to the 2 second lag!

I kid you not I have had this alarm clock for over 10 years. I remember buying it when we moved into our current house. No problems whatsoever. I just use it as a alarm clock. I didn't know you could still get this model or I would have bought more for my children's rooms. I went any paid more money for a fancy one. Heat from me xxx
