This is £99 in Argos

Seems a good price , i may buy it to give it a try

Shame review seem to be a bit poor on this product , but someone wrote a good one about it on Amazon

the review said on Cnet if you can find it at the bargain price of £85 or less then its worth getting , so it cant be to bad for £39.99

i was going to buy but supposidly i illuminates the whole room even when dimmed so this is a no no from me!

good price if you want it!

I guess it would be suited to a kitchen with the radio and photo functionality, as it sounds like it wouldn't be much use in a bedroom with the bright display even on lowest setting. Seems a good deal - but sadly not for me.

There is stock in cambridge and Southend, Essex if that helps anyone?

No, it said $80 but not £85... Also the review was written on 1/02/2008.

In the Cnet review posted above the reviewer countered the reviews saying he didn't think it too bright - might be worth seeing for yourself.

None at Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton and Oxford. When stock's like this it would be easier for them to specify the few stores it is actually in stock at.

Found one in Southend, but quickly disappeared.. at least saved me from spending more money due to HUKD. :)

You'll probably find one on a shelf next to some rocking horse poo.

For £40 I would expect a DAB radio. Pretty but not worth it imao.
#19
We've got one of these. You can set it to dim at a particular time of the day. Once it's dimmed you don't notice it - it's very dim!

You must be a goggles half-full type guy expecting a photo frame/media player and DAB radio for only £40. ;-)

I think the problem with this is that it's good for the price - but at this price you can't expect HiFi radio or a decent screen.

That's weird. I went to Northampton store and they had a couple of those on the shelf. Now, obviously, they've got one less. :) And I bought it at 17:30 (roughly).

When stock drops below a certain number (I think its 3 or 5) it will show as out of stock online but you might still be able to find one instore, like in this case.
#24
Didn't know that, thanks. So basically it means that even if it says "no stock" it is still worth to go to the shop and take a look.

I want one :(

Can't find any locally
