Looks hackable for DVD...

With no disc in the tray. Press the 'Home' button. Scroll to 'Settings' then input the code: 13893108520

A prompt should appear and that will indicate that the DVD region is now set to 0.

But not for Blu Ray.

It also seems that it won't auto switch 50/60 hz so R1 disc play in B&W unless you switch it manually.

It will play some MKV's, but not all.
I can't find if it supports NTFS or not?

do you just plug your speakers into this machine,or do you need an amp as well

thanks

It's a blu ray player not an amp. It outputs in 7.1 but needs an amp and speakers.
